It should be interesting to see how this plays out. Especially in light of the
constant grief that USU fans laid upon Travis Spivey.
Nothing bad with a 7 footer. Just make sure he hangs out with our Mormon
ballers. Hopefully the can keep him out of trouble. Good luck to USU and Welcome
maybe he could lead the conference in steals?
I'm glad USU is giving this kid a chance, Stew will keep him in line or he'll be
gone! USU has had a lot of high character guys who know how to work hard! I'm
sure this kid has got a lot of talent and hopefully he's not afraid of hard work
because he could really be a benefit to the program. I believe in second
chances, he made mistakes before he got there. He definately made the right
choice in coming to USU if he plans on turning his life around and making the
best of a great opportunity.
the Aggies just signed Jesse James. He better be great in order to take a
chance on about to be convict. Are the Ags that desperate?
He won't lead the conference in "steals" he was not charged with stealing
anything. However he may lead in assists.
Doesn't sound like he his on the team yet.... just enrolled at school. A good
defensive presence in the middle could really help the Ags, though. The only
problem is that he is listed at 215.
He's reaaaaaally skinny. I hope he puts on some weight.
From all accounts of the robbery, it doesn't sound like he is very good at
assists either. I hope Stew knows what he is doing on this one.
He may be skinny, but as Frank Layden said "you can't teach height!" It'll be
interesting to see how/if he pans out.
hanging out with the "Mormon ballers" is going to keep him out of trouble?
Because Mormon kids NEVER get in trouble? Hmmm I don't think so. He needs to
hang out with the TEAM! BTW - which Cal Poly offered? I've seen
this several times. There's more than one you know. I assume it's Cal Poly
SLO, since they have a D1 program, but it would be nice for clarification.
Let him among you who is without sin cast the first stone
ok so a guy thats 7 feet tall robs a bank, but he has to gas up first so he
steals that too. I guess you don't have to be too bright to go to college
