CJ is a great talent that I have had the opportunity of playing against when he
was just a kid in JR High, back then I knew he would be good but not this good.
I played basketball for Pleasant Grove a few years back when coach mac first
started. This program has come a long way since then and this is proof of it.
Congrats to him and good luck @ Washington but not before a championship year at
Just wanted to wish CJ luck and let him know that it has been fun watching him
play for the last three years. This kid is a legit baller with all the moves!
Welcome to the family CJ!
Get out of the first round, then talk about winning a championship. Baby
But winning a championship? He can't do that at PG. He should've gone to Lone
Peak, where they will win number 3 in a row, and he would be fishing in bigger
recruiting ponds. Congrats CJ. Go Lone Peak
Nice to see a Utah kid look beyond his immediate environs and choose a school
that has recently put some players into the NBA (Brandon Roy, Nate Robinson,
Spencer Hawes). Wilcox and the basketball world will find out exactly HOW good
he is when he plays in/against the PAC-10. BYU is a good school, but coming out
of the weak competition of the Mountain West Conference, you never know how good
a player really IS, regardless of how much lipstick Dick Harmon smears on them
(Trent Plaisted anyone? Rafael Araujo?). Good call, Wilcox! We await you in
A bigger recruiting pond than the Pac-10, where nine out of 10 teams went to the
postseason last year? Not sure there is one, but I guess that's a matter of
opinion. CJ was better off staying at PG where he could be the focus of the team
and really showcase his talents. He would have had to wait a lot longer at Lone
Peak. It will be fun to watch him at UW.
