Newt hasn't lived there since 1998 and for 20 years really lived in DC so he
hasn't really lived in Georgia. Georgia is number one in bank closings in the
U.S. and 4th in foreclosures so they will want someone who teaches money= job
and not history or philosophy. Newt probably has said things in some of the
other states that has irritated Georgia voters and that should bother him. He
has changed religions since he was in Georgia and that may be a factor for him.
Besides, if he doesn't win his home state the press and opponents will be after
those other states on Super Tuesday. He is not a Georgia conservative. If
Georgia is that bad on first in banks and 4th in foreclosures, did he abandon
them in the past 14 years after he went down in the Speaker of the House and his
ethics situation? Where has he been for the past 14 years? He spent his
$500,000 on jewelery in another state, I would picture. That didn't really help
the Georgia economy. He is protecting their rights to be poor and maybe not
getting real education. Remember that Atlanta School District had ethical
problems, not exactly the same but similar to Newt. Sort of stuffing the box.
