Karl Malone whether his statements true or not, this should all have been
disclosed and to put to bed right after Jerry Resigned. Funny this gets more
coverage in the state this Greg and Karl thing, then Jazz Coaches not having
players Defend the 3. You can also add JER and his "same ol rotation,
biases and FUN AND COMPETITIVE Statements Greg Has made" If only this kind
of coverage would be to put Pressure on Jazz Management to try and win World
I was watching a movie with Clint Eastwood the other night. Clint Eastwood
reminded of Jerry Sloan. Always seems to do what is right even if it is hard
or unpopular. These are also two people you don't mess with. I love Clint
Eastwood and Jerry Sloan.
One more reason not to trust Gordon Monson. His favorite thing is to stir the
pot. He needs to go back to Houston his favorite team..
Jerry Sloan is old school which means he's a man of integrity! Our country
needs more men like Jerry Sloan! Thanks for the 23 years coach.
Can you see any of this happening if larry where still here Malone was somewhere
near the truth deron Williams is a spoiled rotten and the jazz are better of
without him I do think if Larry where still hear Jerry would still be coaching
but maybe it was time for him to go because Corbin seems to be doing a good job
thanks for all the great years coach sloan
Leave it alone media, all it does is by stiring something that doesn't smell
good to come out! What good does this kind of crap do? You people and Monson
need to be positive instead of digging up dirt!
@ ramI'm not sure if D-Will is a spoiled brat as you said or not, but the
Jazz are definitely not better without him. You put D-Will on this team right
now and they become one of the best teams in the NBA. Derron was misunderstood
by a lot of fans I believe. He is very competitive and just wants to win and
does get a little hot under the collar sometimes. In all honesty, D-Will and
coach Sloan are clones. They are both competitive and want to win ant not
willing to back down from a fight. That's probably what made it hard for them to
The real truth is that he loves living in Riverton so much that he couldn't
stand the thought of having to leave it everyday to go to work. ;)
Sloan is loyal and certainly has class, and Malone is surely right.
@Americanvet: Put D-Will back on this team, you don't have Favors, Kanter, or
Harris (he's no D-Will but he's servicable). Jazz still have another chip; a
first round draft pick this summer.Do you honestly believe the
following team is "one of the best teams in the NBA?"PG:
Williams, Watson, TinsleyWings: Bell, Hayward, Miles, Howard, BurksPosts: Jefferson, Millsap, Evans, TBD, TBDBear in mind, D-Will's
salary probably makes it impossible to get Howard and whoever replaces Favors
and Kanter are not going to be on inexpensive rookie contracts which means you
have to settle for someone willing to play for veteran minimum.Further, D-Will hasn't made NJ competitive largely because he hasn't played
defense for years, he has fallen in love with his own reputation and stats, he
has become more selfish than ever (he was always pretty selfish; witness his
freeze-out of Kirilenko during his second season), he is disruptive in the
locker room (witness his pouting episodes when Maynor and Brewer were traded),
and he lacks loyalty to anyone but himself. There's no question in my
mind that the Jazz are a better team without D-Will.
