What an awesome meet! Bummed I couldn't be there, was hitting refresh on the
live scores on my ipod every 30 seconds it seemed like!
From Syracuse area, NY: Checking live scores, pacing the room, checking, joy,
apprehension, pacing, checking, then the two 9.95s on floor, and happy! happy!
joy! Joy! Would have LOVED to have been there!
Great job Red Rocks. #1 is a great place to be. Go Utes.
so you win a meet on your home floor.....what else is new?
@ Prairie Dog"so you win a meet on your home floor.....what
else is new?"At least the Red Rocks can win at home and
maintain a #1 ranking, unlike a certain team down south who was #1 in men's
volleyball lost at home to Stanford.
@Prarie DogI'm waiting for us to be so badly embarrassed at home
that we litter our own arena with garbage...
PAC 12 loves UBYU lost the best outside hitter in the country with a
broken hand for the next 4 to 6 weeks, and unlike in gymnastics, where multiple
individual scores count towards a team score, volleyball is a team sport where
losing a star player can dramatically affect a team - like a basketball team
losing a Michael Jordan or a Kobe Bryant.Stanford is ranked #7,
hardly a slouch team to lose to without your All-American hitter.btw, BYU has won three national championships in volleyball since the last
time the Red Rocks won a championship.
@ SportsFan Thanks you for your interest...Utah has won
a record ten national championships and been runner-up eight times.Go Utes!
Teaching MomentAren't Utah fans the ones who are always whining
about BYU fans living in the past?U haven't won a gymnastics
championship since last century.
