Utah can't capitalize on Dallas injuries, fall apart in 4th quarter
If you look at the schedule for February, the Jazz could very easily go 1 for
15. They have 9 games on the road and 5 of their home games are against the
likes of the Lakers and Clippers. The Jazz are playing for the future and on
March 1, they should know what that future is and that future better include a
good young point guard. The Mavericks are really "up tempo". On
defense, they box out. I am happy to see where Kanter had a good game. Millsap
continues to play great.
@JBQ. I agree and Jazz should go after Charlotte's Augustin, a multi-skillset
point guard. They have him and Kemba and might give him up for Milsap.
Seems to me that we always lost to teams when they get hot from three-point
land. Our guards are too slow/lazy/unskilled to guard them on the drive and the
perimeter at the same time. That being said, I think we still have goo interior
defense, and that will get us through a lot of games. People are
talking about trading Harris, but I'm not sure that is the best solution unless
it is a really obvious improvement. Rumors about Mo Williams being traded to
the Jazz don't really excite me because Mo seems like the same type of player
that Harris is. I think we should wait this season out, and let the team
develop. The last thing these young guys need is a shake-up to the roster. I
would support a trade only if we started going on a major losing streak.
Shaybo, the only player who should be completely untouchable on the Jazz's
roster is Milsap. This is a man who gives everything every minute of every
night. Plus he comes back every season with a new set of skills that he has
been working on. There are very few players in the league with his kind of
poise, humility, and work ethic. I wouldn't trade him for anyone, even if it
were Dwight Howard, or LeBron James. Augustin would be great, but I would
rather trade Harris, Bell, CJ, or a number of other players before Milsap.
Dustin I agree with most everything you said about Milsap except that he's
untradeable. Remember he did sign with Portland before the Jazz matched so we
know he will go where the money is. we are only guaranteed to have him one more
year after this unless we break the bank to get him. Also the upside on Favors
is absolutely huge and he is becoming less and less happy with his 15 minutes a
