Great match Cougars! Congratulations on sweeping #5 USC and #1 UC Irvine in back
to back weeks.
Terrific, Spectacular and nothing short of a gut wrenching performance that the
Cougar Volleyballer's displayed the last two nights in the Smith field house it
was truly "surfing the NAR !Hey not to point out reporter
errors on some of the facts, but here I go.First off it is the USC
Trojans not Spartans, you rebounded back from that in the next paragraph.I was there and it was Joe kauliakamoa who jumped up on top of the
scores table, out of bounds tipped it back in play that eventually did not score
a point but it did ignite the crowd. Yes Josue did slide into the scores
table but it was not the play that got the crowd jacked up and back on the
Trojans back.Yes Rob leaping into us on the north side was another
spark, but you forgot about Joe Kauliakamoa who went under the net on the SC
side hit it in play back over the net so the boys could get another kill
shot.Just some minor corrections that all really got the Smith Field
@ Blue CougI gather from your blog that you did not get to see the
match's in person cuz it was a blue cougar smash fest yes a blast baby. The SC boy's played well and pretty good sports for the most part. Hey
dude yes this league is the Volleyball holy land of off the chart teams. Hey get to the games the next team in the Smith Field House is the
Cardinal from Stanford.Aloha
Ditrik and Miles are studs. "I'm proud to be a Ute today." You make us
proud, too, Ditrik.
kokuaWhat are you talking about? Not only was I at the
match Saturday night and watched the entire Friday night match on BYUtv, I
played volleyball for BYU with a teammate who later went on to coach both Penn
State and BYU to national championships.I do not have a personal
blog, although I often share insights with my son who does maintain a blog,
PlanetBYU. Feel free to drop by sometime.
Volleyball is one of the most exciting sports there is. The athleticism of the
players is amazing. It is even more fun having a team as good as BYU right in
our back yard. Hopefully they can take it all the way and win another national
Since this is a story from the BYU site, why are they talking about the lady
Utes gymnastics team and why are they showing a photo of the women and not the
men's volleyball team? I was able to watch the match on Friday night on t.v.
and am really impressed with the way they are playing right now. Let's go get
another national championship Cougs.
MJB, you should read the article.1. It's not a story from the BYU site,
it's a College roundup article, meaning it has info of all college sports in the
state.2. They don't talk about the Red Rocks (or "lady Utes
gymnastics"), that's the Utah State gymnastics team.3. The ski team
is the Utah team that is mentioned, and it was for winning the Denver
Invitational, which is kind of a big deal.
@stgtoslcIt is? Never heard of it.
