The Deseret News says Romney flips again. Isn't it more like "Flops?"
surely Romney can reach into his little coin purse and find the change to buy a
few more votes.
Santorum was not given the win by Iowa he was awarded a tie because three
presencs tallys were lost and can not be retreved and the number of deligates
are being split evenly. But I'm sure there are many who will spin this however
The press loves to report this because they do not like Romney. CNN reported
this yesterday with headlines that Santorum actually won. Really? With
precincts uncountable, the real result is a virtual tie. Iowa's caucus votes
and non-binding. In the 2008 cycle, the state went for Huckabee yet cast all
delegate votes for McCain. This is really a lot about nothing...but not if you
are attracted to negative Romney headlines!
Mitt will be fine regardless.Mitt maintains he will bring jobs to
USA, but in fact he attended Harvard Business school where there is no class on
how to develop new jobs. There are classes on how to make a business more
sucessful and that is done by cutting costs and increasing output. That is the job of any business owner and the highest expense in most
companies are the employees, so although he maintains he will bring new jobs he
has had no experince in that but has had plenty in removing them, getting the
work done either by mechanization or by shipping the work overseas to les
developed countries.Business owners are never attracted to more
empoyees/overhead but are more likely to cut them whenver they have a chance.
The Romney if elected will again have to flip on what he really is
good at doing. He will want to develop jobs but he is much better at cutting
and has been abysmal at job creation. I expect that will not change.
The mentality of jealous people. No wonder we've had leaders causing
sixteen trillion debts and high unemployment. Leaders who would rather subject
us to middle east oil rather than ours or Canada's. Leaders who take our money
for personal vacations. Our debt, high unemployment, and dependence
on mid east oil is proof of a corrupt government.Let's keep being
fooled by class envy and worthless pep rally speeches. Learning is so difficult.
Here is the problem with the missing precincts. Here is the result from my
precinct alone, which was reported. Romney 71 Paul 45 Santorum 39 Gingrich 27
Perry 18 Bachmann 12 Huntsman 1 So if just our precinct was missing it was a 32
vote difference in the race between Romney and Santorum. I have the results from
another precinct and Romney won by 34 votes there so if any precincts are
missing it makes a difference. There is no fudging of results as all
campaigns are invited to observe the counting of the ballots. We had a committee
of 5 people count and recount the ballots. Personally I believe they
should change the process here in Iowa. If you are not in Iowa that night and
can't attend that hour you cannot participate.
So apparently it isn't just Florida that can't count actual votes correctly. I
think Jon Huntsman's analysis of Iowa wasn't too far from the turth.

Poor choice of headline AP, it was called a tie due to the 8 missing precincts.
The only loser was Iowa, that lost some credibility losing eight precincts worth
Mitt Romney will NEVER be a Marco Rubio. Nor will he stand next to Romney.Romney flip-flops to much.My views.Dear
Chuck:On December 17, 2011, the Senate passed a $915 billion
spending bill which funds the Departments of Defense, Education, Energy,
Homeland Security, Labor, Health and Human Services, Interior and the
Environmental Protection Agency, and other agencies for this fiscal year until
September 30, 2012. Unfortunately, this bill does nothing to resolve
Washington's massive spending habit or our nation's unemployment problem, and is
riddled with anti-life provisions and earmarks. For these reasons, I voted
against it. The President recently asked Congress to
approve a sixth increase in the debt ceiling. The request is another $1.2
trillion, adding to a three year debt binge that has totaled $4.5 trillion and
has enabled our overall debt to surpass $15 trillion. This latest request will
push the federal debt limit well above $16 trillion. Instead of making debt
ceiling increases a routine Washington exercise, we need to make it routine to
actually spend no more than we take in. Until then, I will oppose any request to
continue borrowing and spending recklessly. US Senator Marco Robio
It is really interesting in the Iowa system that it cannot be certified, really
certified until 2 weeks after the vote, especially with their wanting to be the
first out of the gate to impact on the election and candidate process. If all
those polling places are in doubt, then 34 votes are still in doubt. They just
have dropped off the radar of the other states so Iowa will have a credibility
problem next time with their system. Does that mean the general election
process may have a flaw in Iowa? With polling places with judges, can their
system be reliable? Since this is a party thing, the Iowa Supreme Court won't
intervene but it will be an impact on Iowa's tourist process in 4 years. Mitt's
integrity may be questioned by the media and campaigns but he has always been
above board in his life and way of life. He espouses all the characteristics of
a person that will always stand tall in this any other event in life. Since the
vote is still in question the split delegates is basically still the same.
Gingrich may seem smart but that is not what we need, we need HONOR

that flip-flops to much. As I said, "Mitt Romney will NEVER be a Marco

Saturday's vote will be interesting. With Perry/Bachman out, those votes will
go to anyone but Romeny. Gingrich has been climbing, while his PAC is spending
ridiculous amounts of money. Mitt just can't get out from his shaddy past, and
shaddy business record. If this were a 2-3 person race, and Paul
just called it quits, you'd likely see Romney lose the nomination. The
Anti-Romney vote is much stronger as a whole than the Romney vote is. If the
field dwindles quick enough, the Conservatives who have had some much to say the
last 3.5 years might actually stand up for what they believe in and nominate a

provcocation of class warfare. one asks because it seems that when the
president or other national leaders make reference of the need for more equal
and equitable sharing of the American pie there are shouts of it is taking it
from the castle of the rich. If the super rich have taken all the loot and keep
it to themselves in their castle; then isn't it a little shallow of them to cry
class warfare when others try to level the playing field and improve greater
citizen worker participation for a better nation. If it doesn't totally favor
the super rich then is it socialism or communism; it seems that is the cake
being offered to the masses.
Votes have gone missing? And we still allow these clowns in Iowa to be front and
center in US Presidential politics...wow
Bro Chuck - so are y0u really saying that Romney lost the precinct votes in
Iowa? Hmmmm didn't know they let the candidtares touch those things.

That's their ReaganBushClintonBush-villes economics. The ones running are
nothing more them pure apocalyptic fiction. They are "NOT" qualified
in America to run as president of the United States. Wouldn't it be great if a
Republican presidential candidate Romney could just buy the support of just
about every major conservative talk show host in America? Well, it may not be as
far-fetched as you may think. Clear Channel owns more radio stations (850) than
anyone else in the United States. Well, it turns out that Bain Capital is one
of the primary owners of Clear Channel. Yes, you read that correctly. The
company that Mitt Romney ran for so long is one of the "big bosses"
over virtually all conservative talk radio in America. So you tell me.
Romney owns Clear Channel Communications, Inc. that runs conservative talk
shows, why do they, Glenn Beck and Rush want HIM elected?. Re: Wldflwr 9:58 a.m. Reply: NOW you do.
I am enjoying this -- its better than paying money for a comedy show!

RE: Brother ChuckI didn't say who I wanted to see win Iowa. My
comment had nothing to do with any candidate or their perceived positions on any
matter.....unlike you. You must believe in revisionist history or
have a short jmemory if you can't remember the mess Florida experienced with
hanging chads, dimples, missing ballots, etc during a rather recent presidential
election. Or maybe you're too young to have noticed what was happening in the
Bush/Gore vote in Florida. The whole thing made national headlines and found
its way not only to the Florida Supreme Court (which looked silly) but also the
US Supreme Court.I'm more bagging on election proceedures than any
person, by the way, in case you couldn't tell that, either.
wrz 10:46 a.m. SLCWe lived in Illinois for 9 years and I know what
you mean. We lived in southern Illinois but the Chicago area is really what you
are talking about. Santorum has some good principles in practice but he is
similar to VP Dan Quayle and would be eaten by the sharks of Obama in the next 9
months of campaigning. The King of campaigning has his minions in Chicago
already lining the streets with strategic and tactical plans for combat with the
Republicans as in their new line of advertising. Mitt Romney can't give up as
he acquiesced with John McCain in 2007-2008. We thought it might be Hilliary
but when she was persuaded to back down and Obama took over, John McCain and
Palin could not handle all those barbs handed out in every speech going into
every home and living room during every newscast, 24-hours a day. Chicago style pizza and politics are not normal politics, today, tomorrow and
especially from the past. The President even released Mayor Bill Dayly as he
wasn't as strong as his Father, mayor of Chicago forever.
@wrz:"Santorum lacks gravitas. He reminds me of a high school
junior running for student body president."You got that right.
I hope Santorum can secure the high school student body president position.
Then, maybe, in a few years when he has taken on a mantra and look of
intelegence and wisdom he can run for US President. Right now, he ain't
qualified.Newt? Too much arrogance with a temper. How can we put a
guy who served his wife divorce papers on her death bed?Ron Paul?
Good heavens! He's mostly a nut job with maybe one good idea.
This is awesome. Romney is certainly going own slowly but going down.
No way, an article by Deseret News of the election that doesn't involve
Romney?Oh wait... he's still involved. The DNews doesn't want anyone
but him on any stories. Bias.

And Mitt Romney called Rick Santorum to congratulate him....classy.
We're all flip floppers. Some will never admit it, and some will.
@JWB:"wrz 10:46 a.m. SLC"Good luck on finding
that post. For some strange reason, it disappeared. I guess the monitors had
second thoughts. Contrary to what has been considered an actual fact for many
years only real people vote in Illinois. This did not originate with
me. It has long been said that Illinois politics is corrupt and that the dead,
somehow, find a way to vote. The old saying 'vote early and vote often'
originated in Chicago... And take a look, several of their past politicians have
gone at cross purposes with the law... including Blago (as reported in the
DNews).Monitor: My seventh try. I give up. Everything in my post
is true and anything that may be considered abusive, is factual.
