Sensitivity towards others is an issue for society in general, not just institutions such as BYU or Baylor. As a Latter-day Saint I was uncomfortable with the descriptions of a zealous member "waving the Book of Mormon in the face" of a non-LDS student, but these types of interactions happen everywhere; one needs to develop patience with the opinions and convictions of others. I have had many instances where associates and friends have politely, yet emphatically, sought to confront me about the foolishness of some of my most sacred beliefs. I try to listen and respond without being put out that they are trying to "change" me.
