    Poor little millionaires...their job actually requires them to get tired, and maybe a little sore and beaten up. It's just too much for the paltry sums they're being paid...

    ...you gotta feel for the little fellas...

    It is as Jerry Sloan used to say about the NBA....the players are only playing 48 minutes as a maximum in a game and the rest of the day, they are resting. So what's the problem? Get in shape and quit crying about it. And we don't need the writers to rag on subjects that are total baloney. The NBA is a man's game. Man up.....MAN.

    Wow. Have any of you played a high intensity game of basketball?

    @Tyler

    Yeah, I have, actually; with a squad of [young] former Univ. of Kentucky players--against other top recruit players--back in the late 80's while playing in a city league for Lexington, KY. The games were fast, furious and extremely competitive. That didn't stop me from enjoying my experience and doing my best.

    Then you would know, first hand, that your body becomes beat up throughout the process. Add a lack of rest then you get injuries.

    I am just sick of reading posts from people taking any chance to take a swipe at players. Football players sometimes have 3 games in 10 days. You hear how it takes a toll on them, but you won't hear fans complain about the whining.

    Tyler you are right on. The ignorant comments here about how a millionare shouldn't be banged up is insulting to educated Jazz/NBA fans.

    I have major issues with the richest 1%. CEOs, owners and ball players are not free from my rants. Still, with this condensed schedule, everybody is hurting and careers will be cut short by wear and tear.

    I would prefer a 50 game schedule that starts in November, with no more than 3 games a week ever. This schedule would be plenty of basketball with a fresher product on the court. Less players would conserve energy and dog it, but it's a fairy tale. There is too much money to be made, and hey, this is America.

    You say "get in shape and quit crying about it' but you don't understand. Nobody is in good enough shape to be pounded 5 times in 7 days.

    When are you gonna get in better shape? After you destroy yourself on the court? The games these players play night in and night out are more than any commenter here could put up with for one night.
