No offense to Alex and his jumpshot, but If I hear another pro athlete talk about getting the respect they deserve, whether it is an aspect of their game or the press or the faithfulness of their dog, I am going to vomit. It will likely be tomorrow that I vomit.

Alex's comment about getting no respect for his outside jump shot just might be warranted. He heard a lot of that before and after the draft. I think he just wants to prove his critics wrong.

I'd rather have him come into the league with a slight chip on his shoulder than have him hanging his head.

From what I have learned of Burks, my prediction is the kid is going to do well.

First of all it is Alec, NOT alex!!!

I think his shot is better than people think and who cares about the way he says "he gets no respect." I personally like that he has a chip on his shoulder. I think he's going to come in and be a star for us and win a lot of games for us! Cannot wait for the 19th so we can finally see these guys play!

Alec Get a mentor(Wesley). Watch all the tapes you can.Realize how hard he works each position. And remember defense, defense,defense.. What a advantage to have a fellow countryman on the time for Enes. And to all that say boycot, just sit on your couch and watch the Walton's.Me!! I'm watching the NBA..

man i cant contain my excitement for the Jazz....what other people forget to point out that...most of these guys are still under their 30s and havent reached the peek of their prime yet...and if we could get this team intact and get a solid defender distributor shooter at the point position for the next 5 or so years...we will win one...these guys must understand that in order to win the title..they need to depend on each other...and be accountable for everything you do in the court...be a team player and forget the stats...the most important stat is the scoreboard and winning...i hope we prove to everyone that we dont need a big three to win
