PLEEEEEZE!!! Don't trade Paul Millsap! I luuuuuuuuve him!!! Go
Why would the Jazz think about trading Millsap when Raja still lurks within the
team?Millsap has proved his worth for years in the Jazz system but
he produced much higher numbers when he had a great PG. We need another 2
guards that are nearly as good as Devin Harris, not the Ronnie Price who forgets
he is supposed to pass the ball and instead throws up shots that are just short
of embarassment levels.Ronnie knows the Jazz system but does not
play well in it. He thinks he is the best shooter on the floor, does not
develop shots for others and tends to over-dribble the ball.Millsap
is canny on the floor and has the body and ability to improve, a relatively
affordable contract and a body that comes back night after night, which is
highly sought after in this league.KOC get the team some backup
point guards and lets get on the move, trade Raja and Okur.
And that is exactly why you don't trade Millsap!
Millsap has met or exceeded every expextation the jazz have of him. hes
reliable, positive, always healthy, hes been around long enough to know the jazz
system. He stepped up when Boozer was "injured". And Millsap put in a
steady year starting in the toughest season jazz have had in a decade. he won
at least 2 games for us (miami and orlando). Why trade him?
Oh ye with short memories...the lockout has been over for about 15 minutes and
we've already forgived and forgotten?Boycott the NBA!
I don't think Millsap will ever be a top 5 power forward in the league but he
should be able to continue to contribute at a high level at both forward
positions for many years. I would love to see him stay in Utah. He is a keeper
in my book
Sir RobinYou can boycott the NBA. Who needs you? My loyalties
however, run much deeper than 5 month lockout.
Millsap is dependable, consistent, healthy, and loyal to this team. I would
like to see him be more vocal as a leader. But, he likes it here and has put
roots down here. If we trade that away we'd better get something pretty amazing
in return, because Millsap is one of a kind.
@Man in ChargeYou're exactly the kind of person they're relying on
to pay their exorbitant prices so they can make $100k per minute. Enjoy being
one of those people.
The Jazz are in a weird position. I think that the Jazz need to do whatever it
takes to make this team better. If trading Milsap makes us better, than do it,
but he is a scrappy guy who is really a solid 6th man. Memo is the guy that I
think could be considered to be a movable piece to the puzzle. The Jazz may be
able to package a deal for Bell/Memo and draft pick for Andre Igoudala. Would
you do it? I would. We know that AK is not coming back, so that leaves our team
with an opening at the 3, a chance to upgrade!!! If the Jazz can't move Memo,
than I think Memo gets released via amnesty clause. Good-bye AK and Memo, hello
upgrade and durability! Can Evans play the 3?
As painful as it is, I have to agree with Brave Sir! I've been a Jazz fan for
so long, loved them when it Stock, Malone, Eaton....and then Horny! But it's
just not the same now......way too much greed, and the fans are truly taken for
granted. They won't get my money or viewing any longer.
