Hey, look at the bright side!?!? It wasn't Hurricane that knocked you out this
season! Congratulations to the coaches for taking a talented team to the
playoffs and leaving in the first round.
Yes Mr. unMorgan, congrats to both the coaches and players. The team played hard
and the coaches did what they could. This team fought hard and played well
against a school that is more than twice their size. Lets see how well Spanish
would do against Bingham, or Freemont against a school with over 4,000 kids.
@small town, UTthe team from Morgan was one of the toughest teams
that Spanish Fork has played in the past few years. Great Job by the coaches
and kids.Morgan has roughly 700 and Spanish Fork 900 students so I
do not know where your numbers came from.
@UtahSaintsSpanish Fork has 990 students grades 10-12 while Morgan
has 550 students grades 10-12. A little larger talent pool to pull from.
Regardless of the numbers Spanish has a great QB and RB. And their defense is
tough. I would much rather see Spanish Fork advance than Juan Diego. At least
Spanish Fork uses hometown talent.
@Can't WaitI agree totally. The numbers that are used are skewed by some
schools counting 9-12 and others counting only 10-12. With that said, it is not
always the size of the dog in a fight, but the size of the fight in a dog. I am
not taking anything away from Spanish Fork, they are a great team and deserved
to win. I too would love to see teams that have "homegrown" talent
succeed. Good luck to all the small towns. God Bless America and Friday Night
