    The Utes should win this game assuming they don't turn the ball over 5 times like they did against Washington. And Arizona State.

    Gonna be a tough game.

    After this weekend if ASU loses we're just 1 game back from playing in the Pac 12 championship game. I think our offense is unpredictable, but defense has been STELLAR. Utah 27 Cal 17

    @Lifelong Ute

    It's two games isn't it? We can't tie with ASU or they go as the south rep, because they beat us. So since we lost 3 pac games they have to lose 4. Seems a little unlikely anyway (who do they have left to play anyway?).

    Either way, we shouldn't look so far ahead... lets beat Cal first ok? lol

    Pillow fight of the week in the PAC 12 - division cellar dwellers going at it.

    @Lifelong Ute

    "After this weekend if ASU loses we're just 1 game back from playing in the Pac 12 championship game."

    lol

    Do you have a clue how ridiculous that statement is?

    First, ASU plays BYE this weekend
    Second, ASU's next game is against Colorado
    Third, Utah would have to run the table (6 of 6) and ASU would have to lose 2 of 5 against Colorado, @UCLA, @WSU, Arizona, and California for Utah to win the PAC 12 south and get the chance to be crushed by Stanford or Oregon in the championship game.

    What I'd like to know is how someone gets away with calling themselves a "sports fan" when all they really do is pay attention to a team enough to hate on them. Also, the North Division is not necessarily a two-horse race. Washington is pretty good when they decide to play some defense, so tomorrow should start to show some possible separation in the North. Some observant fan you are.

    I don't expect we catch up to ASU, though. When you take the power out of your own hands, it rarely works out that you catch a good team. There is still a lot to play for this year, though, so let's take one week at a time and be the best team that we can be regardless of what's going on in the rest of the conference.

    Lame attempt at trashing the Utes. You would give your right arm for your team to be playing real teams in a real conference, as would any true BYU fan.

    Have fun watching those exciting lower WAC teams.

    Every game in the pac 12 is tough. And our offense is not good. Did u see U of A last night. I hope we beat the rest of the teams on our schedule but it will be a battle each and every week.

    pillow fight of the week in nowhere-ville:

    b-riley-u vs idaho state

    can't wait to see a clean sweep of byu players earning prestigious independent player of the week awards

    This season for the Utes comes under the heading of....be careful what you wish for.
    Playing our average to above average teams in the PAC week in and week out takes it's toll. You begin to see what we have grumbled about for years having to face USC, Stanford, Oregon, Washington, Cal and a few others depending on the season, week in and week out. It takes it's toll and you never get much of a break to heal and recover.
    Utah will eventually adjust, but it takes time. And you have to be deep.
    There is still considerable respect and support for the Utes down here, and Kyle is a great coach so they'll be just fine.

    "What I'd like to know is how someone gets away with calling themselves a "sports fan"..."

    Unlike "Lifelong Ute", at least "SportsFan" knows enough about the PAC 12 to know that ASU doesn't have a game this week.

    " if we don't turn the ball over 5 times "

    Nobody can win if they are doing that, perhaps it is better just to cheer on Hayes and the Utes.

    I really like this Hayes, he is a scraper and looks for ways to win.

    I am usually on the BYU site because of my friendships with some of the players down there, but I have a red diploma and I cheer for the Utes as well as all the Utah schools.
