The "short fuse is lit", we can blame these riots on the GOP's, they
caused them, not us. Full moon tonight?. I remember when Boehner said his top
three priorities were jobs, jobs, jobs. Apparently his top three are, obstruct,
obstruct, abortion bills. Where's the GOP job's for the past 12 years?.These movements have the potential to reignite the progressive spark needed to
address some of the nation's biggest problems like the minority of Senate
Republicans likely to kill Obama jobs bill. It's time to take back
America for the middle-class.Crash Wall Street 10/12/2011
Wednesday. As for jobs, I remember the GOPs and Tea Party promises
each and every year if in office to focus on jobs like a laser. Where are
they?. We need our leaders to get in, take control of the train, and steer it
off the cliff. Why would the Republicans (poster good ole boyz in da hood for
the Koch brother's and Wall Street only), be likely to kill Obama jobs bill?.
Attaching misleading labels to legislation is a well-worn tactic in Washington.
Collectively, We continue to elect those who may not be fit for office. Not
Dems help kill the bill? That is biased reporting DSNews. There were 47 Republican votes against the bill that you don't even mention!
oh yippee another lets do nothing and blame it on obama no vote from the GOP.
And this "more of the same that got us where we are" is going to give
a different result? Sorry, not buying it. This legislation isn't about jobs,
it's about raising taxes, it's about payback and it's about furthering the
mistaken idea that there are jobs just waiting to be taken, if only we borrow
the money to do it. It wasn't true the first time they trotted it out, it isn't
true now. No "shovel-ready" projects then, none now. Such large
infrastructure projects take time to plan and start, they don't just sit around
waiting to be done. Borrowing more money will only get us further into debt,
and only the Republicans can see that...why? It's a plain as the nose on the
sphinx face. Why is it so hard to see? We had all the political theater about
the debt ceiling, finally got an agreement and now we should just throw it all
away like it didn't matter anyhow? This doesn't make sense.
@jackand your solution other then to say no no no is?
@ Jack: The sphinx doesn't have a nose.....
I think the GOP sees that part of the solution is going to have to be doing away
with the "temporary" tax cuts for the wealthy as part of the solution
about as well as they see the nonexistent nose of the sphinx.
I want to say thank you for the few Democrats in the Senate who stood up to
Obama and said no to his so called jobs bill that was nothing more than another
attempt to waste more money we don't have and run up the national debt even
higher! Maybe there is hope for America still!
