I have been predicting all along exactly what is happening to Utah in the PAC 12. After living here in the shadow of ASU for more than 20 years, it will be fun to see another PAC 12 smackdown of the Utes!

Looking forward to this beat down and the ute fan's excuses.
I know, I know, 54 - 10. Still going to enjoy this one!

Anyone heard of this Vontaze fellow? Oh, thats right, you all have, because he's a beast!

Vontaze can and will single handedly shut down Jon Hays and the utes offense.

This is funny. All these BYU fans talking smack through another team because their team got the tar beat out of them by 44 points on their own field and they're still bitter about having to sprint to their cars in the 3rd quarter.

I do agree that Utah will lose this one and it will probably be ugly, but there is still hope for the Utah season whereas there is nothing left for BYU to play for other than Nelson's hair.

The BYU fans are in rare charitable form showing such great compassion and support for the Utes. Thanks to all of you for your encouragement....NOT!

So much for the Cougars taking the higher ground.

Never fear my fellow Ute fans. I believe the Ute defense has been working with their slings and smooth round stones this week. It's time to hit Goliath right between the eyes.

The bigger they are, the harder they fall.

Go Utes!!! Take him down and his team along with him.

I'm not a fan of either team, but most of you fans are so full of hate that it's hard to believe. Cougars do you really believe that Utah won't win a PAC 12 game this year. If you do then I can see how you fell for the hype over BYU this summer. Utah might win this game, if not I only see them losing no more than two more. Southern champ could have 3 loses, it's that bad.

Utah fan's are you so scared that your team will fall apart and all you will have is 54-10 to fall back on. BYU will probably win 8 games now and might end up with a better record than Utah, but they still are not a real good football team and probably never will be elite. Utah might never be elite when the schedule isn't favorable like this year.

Let's end the hatred as fans. The schools have chosen different paths and the rivalry will end.

As a level headed ASU fan, but also a big Ute fan as well, I'm surprised the article doesn't mention that ASU has lost several key players on the OL as well as several of their top defensive players earlier in the season.
So while ASU might well prevail, I respect Kyle and suspect that he is preparing the UTE D and will be coming after OZ on every play.
Seriously though...fear the fork! Welcome to the Pac.. Go ASU!!!

Look at all these haters. Go ahead guys pile on!! At the end of the day TCU was picked over BYU and now to get some sort of satisfaction you need to tear down the team that took you to the wood shed!!! Of course forgetting that beat down won't happen anytime soon. ASU is a great team and they probably will beat the UTES I for one hope the UTES don't quit, learn and compete and as Coach Witt says it is going to take time and it's a process. If Utah looses or some of you think that is what is supposed to happen or will happen. ASU is ranked and favored so yes that is what is supposed to happen. But you still have to play the game!!! Good luck UTES!!!

Ahh UTE fans, don't listen to my BYU brethren. They are just tired of many of your fellow UTE fans who post nothing but hate on BYU articles. Usually what goes around comes around. Now I still believe in the Utes, it may not be this year but they will get better in the PAC 12. It is like I always tell UTE haters, they don't really know football when they post obnoxious, stupid and silly comments, predictions etc, they just want to see BYU lose over and over. I for one know that Utah will be competitive this year but they will have their struggles and I don't think they win their division this year. What will matter is how they adapt and learn for the future. Of that I am not worried because KW is a smart coach who will make it work. And yes, Hansen looks like a good QB who will help the Utes in that process.

    @ Unlucky

    Good comments and advice.

Actually I am fairly certain that all the hatred that you speak of is limited to a relative handful of fans from both sides. Unfortunately, they are the ones that tend to gravitate towards the anonymity of these comment boards. Many of them are young and full of passion for their schools-probably not working with a lot of time on their hands.

From my experience up and down the Wasatch Front, fans from both teams tend to root for all Utah schools except when they play one another. Personally hope that the Utes do well in the PAC 12 and the Cougs do well in independence gig.

And who can't help but root for the poor Aggies-the very best 1-3 team in the land. Really hope they win out and go bowling.

For those of you (and you know exactly who you are) who spew all the venom, please grow up and get a life!

I'm surprised the article said ASU has a perfect record since we're actually 3-1. This could be a close game if the ASU team that had four turnovers in the first quarter against Oregon St. shows up to play. I really think this will be a closer game than some people might be predicting. Just the same, as a cougar fan and an ASU fan I don't need previous losses to Utah to want ASU to blow the Utes out of the water. Welcome to the Pac-12!

2 losses two start the Pac 12 season (soon to be 3) and all Utah fans can talk about is their victory over BYU. As this is their bowl win for the year you can forget the season and remember 54-10. We are proud of you.

Where does a person actually find ROOT on Dish or Direct TV? Anyone know? How about the internet? How will we know the game is really being played without being there?

ouch and your soft average QB got hurt. Sorry that you have nothing to play for in your new conference. Although I am sure you will pump up the care bear bowl you'll be going to like its the next best thing to the BCS.
And to add insult to injury
    ASU 55
    Utah 3
Just make sure you bring up BYU after this loss as well. At least your consistent with your obsession with Big brother.

Why are you here, Jark? I hope you are able to figure out how ironic your statement on the UTAH boards is. Probably not. Seems like you're the one with the obsession. OUCH!

    Utah has no QB
    Utah has no offensive line
    Utah has no running game
Utah's safety's tackle like girls and can't read a scheme... but their fast
Whits dream bubble is about to burst.

    Utah season record

    not so lucky 5-7
    Lucky 6-6
    real lucky 7-5

    BYU's season...nobody cares
