I arrived on my mission in England shortly before Elder Brough was released so I hardly knew him. But what I knew, I liked. He wouldn't remeber me but it has been interesting to follow his path in the church. It's an honor just to be able to say I knew him once. His example was an inspiration to many people. I pray the Lord's blessings to be with his family.

    If I die young . . .
Lord make me a rainbow, I'll shine down on my [daughter]
She'll know I'm safe with You when she stands under my colors.

. . . I'll be wearing white when I come into Your kingdom
And maybe then [they'll] hear the words I've been singing
The ballad of a dove: [listen and serve] with peace and love

[So when you call, call me to come]
[Call me to come] with the words of [Your] love song

Elder Brough worked for my great-grandfather in Woodruff. I was able to meet him in Pocatello and then a few years later when we moved to Georgia and he was are area authority. It was fun to talk to him about my grandfather that I never knew. He was a sweet and kind person. May the Lord bless and keep his family.

The Work beyond the veil must be very, very active because so many Seventies die so young. May the Lord bless Elder Brough's family. I hope he is able to teach my ancestors.
