Where is the AARP demanding that the Soc. Sec. trust fund stop being robbed.
The President has said we can not balance our deficit on the backs of seniors,
and yet the center piece of jobs plan is to take tax funds that would go into
the trust funds and leave them in corporations that may or may not provide them
to employees. No Democrat and no Progressive, and certainly no senior can now
have a reason to continue to support this administration in any way, shape or
President Obama laid out his plan to kick-start the American economy and create
up to a million new jobs here at home.A group of Tea Party lawmakers
elected to skip their President's address tonight. But what those Republicans
missed out on, the American people saw first hand: a bold, new strategy to turn
the country around, and a President who is answering the call of working and
middle class Americans who deserve action. Now all were waiting for
is the Republicans: Will they double down on the GOPs blind obstructionism of
the last three years? Or will they set politics aside and embrace a job creation
plan that pulls ideas from across the political spectrum? The call
for action on jobs cannot end tonight. it must begin tonight.Republican radicals cannot be allowed to dominate this debate. Millions of
Americans are pleading for bold action to create jobs, and it is they who must
be heard. All of us on SSI or SSD will be demanding that the Soc.
Sec. trust fund stop being robbed by the Republican's and given to the Koch
Brother's and Big Oil for kick-backs and votes. My views.
So now the tea-party is thinking about letting taxes rise just because it's
Obama's idea to cut taxes. The tea-party was created to oppose Obama,
not lower taxes and uphold the constitution. If you can't see that by now you
are beyond counsel.
