The writer of this article is such an airhead! In other words, Obama is just
going to give us more warmed over, "bigger" Obama economics. The same
as what we have been getting for the past 3 years. Yeah, thats gonna work! This exactly what I expected. The longer we go with this guy, the more
reasons Jimmy Carter has to wake up smiling each morning. One big embarassin
monkey off his back. Its looking more and more like 2012 is going back to the
Republicans have no answers, and they will prevent the President from
implementing his. We NEED a big stimulus, and we need it now.
The problems we have ARE the result of conservativbe policies. Perot was the
only one that told the truth. The giant sucking sound has been roaring for the
last 30 years. Were you all born yesterday? Now you think it's
Obama's fault there are less jobs? Everybody knows where the jobs went. You have
to be kidding me if you want to blame Obama for the last 30 years of
conservative policies that let our jobs go to lower wages in developing
countries. You really have to be kidding me.
So the President offers more of what has not worked either during this
administration or the Bush Administration and it is whats needed. While, the
intransgient Tea Party is responsible for the down grading of the country's
credit. Really, interesting interpretation of the facts. And, why the President
persists on the continuation of the cut in Soc. Sec taxes is beyond any ones
imagination. It is really a cut in corporate taxes, which entities he routinely
demonizes, and with no benefit that even his own economists can find to the
middle class or to create jobs. It is just a bad way to fix the problem.Re: Screwdriver you may be right. But, Mr. Obama's policies have to be
held accountable for a good part of the unemployment malaise. As Mr. Truman
said "the buck stops here".
I think we need to just eliminate all taxes for corporations, raise taxes on the
middle class and poor, and subsidize business even more so that billionaires and
millionaires can give us poors some more jobs.
