"Politics is the ability to foretell what is going to happen tomorrow, next
week, next month and next year. And to have the ability afterwards to explain
why it didn't happen." Winston ChurchillI found your use of
this quote very interesting, as your column refuses to mention the one man in
the presidential race who has been proven right on many of his predictions. Ron
Paul has predicted the collapse of Freddie Mae and Fannie Mac, the collapse of
the housing bubble, the debt crisis, the declining dollar along with many of the
problems we are facing in the Middle East. He also foresaw the overthrow of
many of the governments there to be replaced by radical elements of Islam.
After winning the New Hampshire Young Republicans straw poll yesterday, it is
obvious that Ron Paul's ideas are the future of the party, and those that choose
to see what's coming will have nothing left to comfort them but a Winston
Churchill quote that doesn't describe the most honest, sensible person running
for president, Ron Paul.
My comment should read, "those who choose NOT to see what's coming"
