That sound was "buzz." It was a large yawn.
I meant to say: "That sound was NOT 'buzz.' It was a large yawn.
once again the DNews is pushing Huntsman, come on get real, he stands no chance
running as a Republican because of his support of gay marriage and global
warming taxes. It's a joke to come on and see your misleading headlines, they
won't convince any voters that he is a legitimate, viable candidate. He will be
Obama's running mate this year, so please stop with the Huntsman propaganda.
I think "vanilla" is the best word to describe his performance at the
debate. I really hate to see him wasting all this time and money on something
he doesn't have a snowball's chance of winning. The only people who are for him
are Democrat strategists who keep trying to convince the rest of us that they
are afraid of him. LOL!!!
I don't believe that Huntsman is campaigning to be president. I think he is
smarter than that and is campaigning to be Vice President to whomever wins the
Republican nomination. That is why the only people he attacks are Romney and
Obama. He knows Romney would never choose him as running mate, so he's trying to
cut him down so that Perry or someone else can win the nomination (see his
efforts in New Hampshire and other places where Romney is campaigning hard). Does he have a chance at the presidency 2012? Absolutely not. But VP?
There is a chance, if he plays it right.
He is campaigning in the wrong primary. He should be with the Democrats.
Buzzzzz. Like an annoying yellow jacket waiting to be swatted.
Anyone who would vote for Jon Huntsman could "Never" be considered a
true American. Study-up on his religious convictions. he is L.D.S. after
all...and the L.D.S. church operates and acts "Socialist" this is
"NOT" propaganda...or smearing the man...it's just the truth. if you
think Obama has a socialist agenda...look into this guys beliefs...you'll see.
Huntsman's progress (if any) is all in the minds of his campaign staff, and the
ego of the candidate.Huntsman is wrong on most issues, and although
right on a few, he lacks the enthusiasm or guts to actually implement them to
the degree to make them successful. Just another politician looking
out for himself. He will NOT be a VP choice! And should not be!Perry-Rubio 2012!
economic prescription of cutting government spending including entitlement
programs less regulation, lowering the tax rate. That's an automatic
$10 million in contributions.
Jon Huntsman is not generating a buzz anywhere but the Deseret News. Let it go!
1UScitizen,Thank you for showing your lack of understanding. It
makes it easy for us to immediately disregard your comment. If someone else
ever tried to bring religion into a political setting, you would cry and cry and
cry and pretend that your rights were being stomped on. But in this case, you
are the one to do it. How about you leave the religion out of the political?
OR, shut your mouth when someone else brings it up in schools or the side of the
Huntsman is completely irrelevant, he has no new ideas, no energy, very little
support, and he's largely disrespected by conservatives. No donor should waste
any of their money on Huntsman (he has plenty of his own), because he will not
win anything this go round.
Huntsman is running for president in 2016. This is his strategy as I see it:
This cycle, republicans nominate a hard-line conservative like Perry or Bachman
who loses to Obama. In 2016 republicans figure they are better off with a
moderate who appeals to independents and centrists.
I am a conservative Republican and a believer in the God of Israel and have
never sent a dollar to support any politician. This year, however, I have sent
money to support Jon Huntsman because I believe he has the best qualifications
to be the President of the United States. The people I talk with see no problem
with a Mormon being elected President. I believe he will be our next President.
The only way Jon Huntsman, Jr. could build "buzz" is by taking up
beekeeping. As Jon Stewart noted, Huntsman was the only Mormon running in the
Iowa Straw Poll and he finished 2nd among Mormons - with 69 votes. He finished
in 9th place, with the winner getting 4,823 votes, 5 candidates earning over
1,000, and the next guy above him, Newt Gingrich, getting over 5 times as
many. The latest Gallup poll shows Huntsman with barely 1% of the
vote, while Rick Perry has 29% and Mitt Romney has 18%.He might be
running for veep. He might be running for Secretary of State. He might seriously
think he has a shot at the presidency. He might just want his name in the
papers. But the Snooze has to keep Huntsman's father happy by running these
ppuff pieces, don't you?
