Mitt Romney on Job creation: From 2003-2007 job growth....0.9%. In
rankings with the rest of the country...MA was 47th in Job creation when Mitt
Romney was there. - Think Progress Travis Waldron 06/02/11
Romney blames Obama because it is Wednesday.Next........
Yawn... why even post that as news? The republicans blame everything on Obama
and the democrats and democrats blame everything on the republicans. Truth is
both parties are at fault.
When it comes to finances Mitt Romney understands budgets. He saved the 2002
Winter Olympics and left money in the bank when it was all over. Too bad the
U.S. doesn't have our social security money in the bank drawing interest. The
federal government did the second best thing and raided the fund leaving IOUs.
Of course he failed to comment on the debt limit negotiations. He knows the
public is on to him about flip-flopping. Better to wait awhile to state an
opinion so he only his to flip on this matter once!
That's right, play the blame game some more. It's not just Obama,
both parties are equally to blame for this crisis. It started back in the Bush
era and has continued forward, helped along its way by both sides. This isn't a failure of the Democrats or the Republicans, it is a failure of
the American system of government.
"Mitt Romney on Job creation:From 2003-2007 job
growth....0.9%."Pagan: Considering unemployment for that time
period in MA was under 5%, 0.9% job growth is outstanding. You never give the
full story, do you. But more to the point of this article - fact is,
the economic uncertainty is a direct product of a leader (Obama) who is
uncertain. He has proven he is in way over his head.
Unfortunately there is no uncertainty with Mitt Romney. He will side with
Norquest, Limbaug and the top 5%.

("TITLE") Mitt Romney blames Obama for economic uncertainty, lets see
if that's really true now. The GOP have been talking about this for 40 years,
talking about how they are going to solve the problem of the deficit. Remember
the Grace Commission? Remember the Gramm-Rudman act? The Gramm-Rudman act said
we couldn't have deficit spending 25 years ago. They forgot about that. Even
if the country lifts the borrowing limit, the damage may be done anyway, which
could still result in a downgrade. Since the 2008 crisis began, the U.S.
government has erred heavily on the side of caution to the detriment of its own
growth. U.S. banks are holding on to $1.6 trillion in reserves as buffer
capital courtesy of the Federal Reserve. The U.S. decision to bail out Bear
Stearns rather than letting it crash. Since banks now can sit on their Federal
Reserve money and earn interest at no risk they have less incentive to lend it
and the U.S. economy is stagnating. If the GOP investment bank had been allow
to collapse banks such as AIG and Lehman might have put more money aside to
Thank you Mitt, for telling it like it is from someone with REAL world
experience. Let everybody know what this president and his fellows are up to.
It is to fundamentally destroy (transform) our country.
Wow Mitt.....how insightful! I mean 90% of the coutry already agreed with you
on that last week.....tell me something we all don't know...Like how Obamacare
will erode jobs and how small businesses will close because the Democrats shoved
Obamacare bill down our throats before they even read it....Not even Jim
Matheson read it and he reads everything unless its signed by Obama, in that
case he supports it...150%!
It will be a huge mistake to allow any person in government today or any
candidate running for office to open up the Constitution for an amendment. Not
many of our elected, or potential candidates for office, has proven that they
even sustain or understand the constitution. Why has the constitution
become an item, now that they are talking about the budget? Why don't think of
making amendments to the constitution that will have an impact on the rights of
the citizens, the very people in which the constitution is established? Not one person running for office or that are in office gives a
"hoot" about this country, or the people. It is all about their
personal agenda and gain. It does not matter if the person is a Latter Day
Saint, Catholic, Protestant, Muslim, Atheist or any one of the numberless
concourses of religions. In my opinion, any person who does not
fully live the principles of the gospel, after exposure to it, cannot be trusted
with the unalienable right of the American people. As Joseph Smith said,
"once a person accepts the gospel, there is no neutral ground, he or she
becomes the servant of Satan."
Leaders lead. Obama has not put forth a plan. Neither party has proposed a
budget that actually reduces the deficit. Perhaps Romney has the courage to be a
paganette:Jealously that Mitt has really done things with his life and is
a tremendous success, both personally and professionally. I would love to know
what you have done with your life, as you have so much time to criticize
everyone and you think that the more blather you post the more readers identify
with your drivel. Mitt has forgotten more about economics than o has ever known.
o has no chance and this empty suit is wearing thin with Americans. No
leadership, no ideas, no courage and no second term.
Uh Mitt, you're right to criticize Obama. Don't limit it to him though...
Include the Democratic party and the Republican party. You see, you're all on
the SAME TEAM. It doesn't matter whether the Republican arm or the Democratic
arm is in power... Both sides of the party (call it the War Party, the
Establishment Party, the Republicrat Party, whatever) are taking us to the same
place. Until we realize this, our fate is sealed.
Of course he does.... what would you expect. He is in campaign mode. There is
zero chance he will hold his own party even a little accountable for even the
...and yet Obama will be elected again because I think most Americans outside of
Utah have seen through mit and his party of obstruction and NO. Good
luck with mit, who will be lucky to get his parties nomination anyway. He sounds petty when he uses Teahuadist language to impress people like KM and
TRUTH who seldom uses his name sake.
Why of course he does, when in doubt kick the man the GOP has stopped with every
breath they take.Oh yeah kick him hard Rumney.....Better not give up your
day job cause you don't have a chance......
MITT already leads Obama and we haven't even past the 4 month mark before the
election....OBAMA is in trouble...even amongst his own party he has lost his
When Mitt speaks economics you at least have some confidence that the man is
speaking from proven experience both as a CEO and a governor. When Obama speaks
economics you get the real sense that the man is way over his head with zero
experience running anything before and only miserable failed policy over the
past 3 years. Obama doesn't understand the poison of uncertainty and what it
does to business investment and hiring. Obamacare created a Mt Everest load of
uncertainty about taxes and expensive regulations and mandatory expenses for
business for the coming years and that is why business is stagnant. The man just
doesn't get it and never will. I have the foreboding sense that our economic
health in this country will continue to worsen until this man is out of office.
To those standing in unemployment lines that is a bitter pill to shallow. I wish
there were some way to help those unemployed to find work - at some level- until
we get a real leader in the White House.
Mitt didn't quite get out of his comfort zone, did he?
Try the Tea Party for taking the Rush Limbaugh burn it down to get Obama course.
I wonder, if when Obama is reelected, people will let go of the cutesy
passive-aggressiveness of making a point to not capitalize the man's name.Probably not.
Hey Pagan 'Think Progress' is not an independent 3rd party source, nice try.
FYI Romney is right on for blaming Obama for this economic uncertainty.
Mr. Romney is smart not to ever give us his opinion on the debt
ceiling------because every hour there is some new twist.
Re: Tom in CA | 2:40 p.m. July 27, 2011 "Pagan ...... You never give
the full story, do you"You hit the nail on the head. If you
suggest that the sun will rise in the east some people will ask you for an
'independent, third party source you can verify".
Utahns have a crush on Mitt Romney. Really?
The greatest ray of hope for our nation I see in these comments is that they are
some of the most non-partisan I have EVER read. I read castigation of both
sides. Can my eyes believe this? in these days of Uber-partisanship?
"BOTH parties"? Hope springs eternal. Perhaps we will survive this
partisan era after all. Funny: the world consists of billions of people, each
of whom are individuals; yet our parties still insist on a "one size fits
all (who matter)" ideal. The elderly are wont to look upon decades past
with rose-colored glasses, but I am certain things WERE more cordial, more
realistic, both parties realizing that the COUNTRY does NOT belong to one party
alone--in decades past.
Wow...these boards are wreaking with disent and mistrust...truth is, the nation
is in deep trouble and we are foundering in debt without a leader. Mr. Obama
came into his own as a community (Acorn) organizer, trained by corrupt labor
union leaders who have no love for our country...only their international
unions. His spiritual advisors also hated the real America and said so many
times. So don't complain about what you got America, you voted the whole
program in and adopeted their socialist policies. Our credit cards are over
limit and we are at a loss as to how to fix the problem.Truth is, we
need a guy like Dave Ramsay to handle the dirty mess the same way he fixes our
individual financial problems. How difficult it for us to handle the simeple
truth. Like the drunks who can not handle their alcoholism till the hit bottom,
many of us will be eating out of the dumpsters before this is over. Obama wants
a different kind of country than our forefathers created...and by the way, when
is he going to get rid of his two corporate jumbo jets? Go Mitt. so your
It's hilarious the left doesn't appreciate the blame game. I've never seen
politics so nasty as when the DNC newsletter started printing anti-Bush articles
on page 1 of their newsletter, in preparation of running against W in 2004.
Democrats didn't even have a viable presidential candidate to run against W,
yet.At least the Republicans have a name and a face to specific
accusations. Mitt is absolutely correct on this one. And given how nasty Obama
was in his presidential campaign, I believe the Republicans have a right to
criticize Obama's leadership, where criticism is warranted.
These attacks by Romney were not personal, not offensive. They hit on a
specific issue that is very important. Uncertainty about economic policy kills
investment that is essential to our economic recovery. Mitt Romney is the man
for the job.
The best thing for America would be a President who can lead the republican
ruled house, but at the same time is open minded enough to help the everyday
American. Who isn't outrageously one sided. Call me ignorant, but based on what
I know about Mitt, he fits the profile
As Joseph Smith said, "once a person accepts the gospel, there is no
neutral ground, he or she becomes the servant of Satan."I
believe there's something missing from this Quote above.like once they
leave of fall away they become servant of satan.Someone said if they
left the church they would go off and be by themselves and leave the church
alone, and he replied You do not know what you would do...?Maybe someone
knows the correct quote. Thanks in advance!
