yeah, end the ethanol subsidies."Clinton reverse his falling
fortunes and recast House Republicans as stubborn partisans, not savvy
insurgents" Wonderful spin doctors clinton employed - they could sell ice
cubes to eskimos. Clinton had as much culpability for the 95 shut
down as the repubs, but he spun it better. the end result was the repubs were
able to force slick willy to accept LESS SPENDING, which reduced the deficits.
Re: Pagen | 12:58 p.m. July 6, 2011 This is starting to look like a
repeat of the Wisconsin budget battle that was won by Republican Gov. Scott
Walker. The voters backed him up by voting Republican conservative Wisconsin
Supreme Court Justice David Prosser back into office over his liberal-supported
challenger, Assistant Attorney General JoAnne Kloppenburg. It's what
we call rubbing salt into the liberal's wounds. Obama is weak and the
Republicans smell blood.
Rifleman | 3:05 p.m., Who walked out in this talk? No
one. So, I'm not sure why you keep on bringing up Wisconsin. David Vitter is still in office after cheating on his wife.
And the only people who 'smell blood' are in your head.
Re: Pagan | 7:15 p.m. July 6, 2011 First it was a Republican victory
in Wisconsin, a Republican victory in Minnesota today, and a Republican victory
in Washington tomorrow. Looks like the Republicans have "The Big Mo"
working for them. The common theme is smaller government and more
focus on personal responsibility.
