How to end the Weiner scandal? But it's not the Dem's who are even
calling it a 'scandal'. Weiner lied and sent out naughty pictures,
it's true. None of which included any photo's of his genetalia or private parts.
No one can even confirm of any adultery took place. And yet, the
first groups to call for Weiners resignation was the Republican party. Even Obama suggest's that Weiner should resign. And yet, David
Vitter still is an elected representative in Lousianna after FACTUALLY cheating
on his wife with one of the 'DC Madam's' ladies. Zero calls of
resignation from the Republican party that I am aware of. Anyone,
please feel free to bring up such calls. But even Michael Steele, former RNC
chairman admits, he did NOT ask for David Vitter's resignation to 'protect his
own' on Rachel Maddow. Double. Standard.
Pagan, do you even know the definition of "scandal"?"Disgraceful or discreditable action, circumstance, etc. An offense
caused by a fault or misdeed. Damage to reputation; public disgrace."Maybe no Democrat has used the word "scandal". I don't know-I
really don't care because I am a thinking adult who knows what a scandal is. I
don't need any politician to point out the obvious and tell me what something is
or isn't. Is the grass not green until our politicians tell us the grass is
green?I do believe the Opie and Anthony picture was an X-rated
version, featuring everything. I choose not to view it. And, in case
you haven't noticed, no one cares about Vitter, probably because he's been
re-elected since his revelations were made several years back. Don't worry-no
one cares about Barney Frank or Charlie Rangel, either. Or that Maxine Waters
is currently under an ethics investigation. Or that Republicans Lee and Souder
have resigned in the last year for sex scandals. And you'll always
have Bill Clinton-the biggest sex scandal of them all and no resignation. Please stop whining about the double standard.
Re: Pagan | 8:11 a.m. June 14, 2011 According to this story it is
the Democrats who are trying to push Weiner under the bus. Where is their
compassion for a fellow Democrat who is struggling with some undisclosed
illness?David Vitter was able to overcome his terrible sex addiction
and was overwhelmingly reelected to the US Senate. A triumph for compassion and
proof that sexual addictions can be overcome with love and understanding.
