Before we can establish or accept a budget, we must decide what direction we
will go. Our way is expensive with many projects and needs. Jobs and
businesses are not the solution; they are the obstacle. There is no solution by
continuing our employment based lifestyle. It is all anti-God and fear based.
God warned against debt, interest, insurance, seeking riches and honors,
education without the word of God, pride, vanity, art-images, and covetousness
(always wanting more), etc.Our high wages and need for resources
bring immigration and war and divisions among the peple. Both parents working
makes a need for child care and senior programs. God's goal in all holy books
is a garden paradise lifestyle where He can provide our rain in due season,
healthy crops for healthy people and animals. IF we choose God's goal for us
now, we can be rescued from our present and future problems and our budget would
give our creditors hope we will not default on our debts. God gave Joseph Smith
Jr. a consecration plan that will make a very strong economy in the right way.

Sure, let's cut medicare. But did a single dime get cut from defense? Oh no.
@Marie-Devine Devine-way: I have a really important question for you.......HUH?
Everybody who has made speeches emphasizing the need for cutting back on our
spending and costs and all our budgetary items in the non-essential category of
the federal code need to realize that the codes they have adhered to for a
generation or more are truly less relevant today that when they first published
such things as a tool for discovering that we really don't have the resources
needed to do the things we have been conditioned to do.
"...Mitt Romney hedges...".Is that pre flip-flop?Or is he just waiting for Grover, Karl, Rush, and Sean to sign off?
If he doesn't 'flip' then he won't have to 'flop' in the future!
of course he declined to answer because regardless of what people want he will
do what ever he wants but it wont be because he got my vote
Hedging is usually when you're not taking a definitive stance because you're
scared of angering primary voters (if you're against the Ryan budget) or the
general voters (if you're for the Ryan budget). Mitt has to be careful here to
tread a line where he's praising Ryan, but not voicing support for his budget
while coming up with his own Ryan-like plan that is sufficiently not Ryan-like.
It's a very difficult maneuver.
The Ryan Budget has many more problems than the Medicare issue. The principal
problem is that the Republicans are unwilling to share the pain necessary to get
the deficit under control. They are happy to throw senior citizens under the
bus, (Medicare) but are unwilling to increase revenues because of the Norquist
no tax increase pledge. Taking that nefarious pledge might have been
politically advantageous at the time, but fiscally it fundamentaly iresponsible.
And now Mr. Norquist is a stumbling block that keeps Republicans from
negotiating in good faith to do what most economists say is necessay. Tax
policy should never be an absolutist method to control scope and size of
Government, and that is what the Ryan plan really is all about.
Romney knows his party is controlled by crazies and their policies are horrible
and bad for America, and he is trying to not get them too upset because he wants
to be rational. In a way, I really feel sorry for him, having to deal with
Mitt is in favor the general principles and direction of the Ryan budget. That
doesn't mean he necessarily supports each individual aspect of it. As he said,
he will have his own budget to propose. That's how things get accomplished.
Everything gets put on the table and then they can work to come to an agreement
on the specifics. As he has made very clear, he is in favor a cutting the
budget and getting back to fiscal responsibility.
One thing you will find. Romney knows he is a Mormon!
Preemptive Flip Flopping, well done Mitt. Go RINO GO!
Name one other candidate, than Mitt Romney, who not only has an
"idea", but also the knowledge, understanding and the record to prove
it and make the idea real. Mitt has all the above. Convince me otherwise if
you can. If the financial situation is solved, time will be available to solve
most other issues. Issues should be prioritized and methodically solved. Get
rid of the top priority of fiscal responsibility which needs to be solved andis
taking the most time. I believe Mitt Romney is the person to guide in
accomplishing this task. All of the candidates have an "idea", but
do they have the ability and experience to accomplish it?
Mitt will get America back to work. Once America is back to work more money will
come in to nreduce the budget. Vote for Mitt in 2012.
