Excellent! Best of luck to each and all.
Hope they make it. These guys have a lot of class.
Joe and Brigham did it once. For some reason this gets overlooked and not many
people know about it.
This can be a life changer. Not only is the altitude an issue but the hours
that they get you up to start is an issue. They will find out what they are
made of. All the best.
Good luck to them. This is indeed a classy move.
um, I hate to be the one to drop the sour grapes on the party. . . but. . .
Coach John L. Smith climbed Mt Kilimanjaro (spelling?) a few years back in an
effort to motivate his team, Michigan State, at the time. Needless to say, he
was fired at the end of the season after his Spartans went from preseason top 10
team to not making a bowl game. So, as cool as climbing a tall mountain is, it
isn't a substitute for hard work, focus, and dedication. Just sayin'.
I actually climbed, and reached the summit, two summers ago with my father. In
retrospect, I should have planted a big "Go Utes" flag on the summit
so it could be there greeting them.It would have been priceless.
I'm excited about this. I don't know why, but I know that I am. I bet more
Cougs have summitted tall mountains than Utes. Just sayin'.
Chad Lewis--what a great guy. PR for NFL and BYU!Go Cougars!
