She was a class act. It was very hard for other women to follow her because
Geraldine knew things and had experience. Class act, right on the issues.
Though I disagreed with her on most every political topic, she represented
herself well. When on Fox News and other programs she always gave an argument
in a dignified way. She will be missed...
Oh for the times when the politicians could disagree vehemently, but still reach
a compromise. RIP Ms. Ferraro.
As an congressional intern in the 1980s, I followed a bill for several weeks
through a committee Ferraro was on. Although my political philosophy differed, I
grew to have enormous respect for her. She was always prepared, never needed
promptings from some legislative aide, was very well informed, and always stayed
on point. She never made the fact that she was a woman an issue, she never made
her comments personal or negative towards the person testifying, but she
insisted that the person testifying be exacting and specific and honest. Ferraro
was a force to be reckoned with. She served her state and her country well. RIP.
I didnt agree with anything she did or said but never was impressed by her in
any way either she wasnt a class act as far as Im concerened she was just
another politician and no politicians impress me
