I agree that the Aggies will not be left out this year, but if they lose they
will likely end up as an 11 or 12 seed which will result in another 1st round
loss. Win, get a 7 seed, and win in the Big Dance where it really counts. I am
hoping for the second scenario. I will be in Vegas to see it all unfold. Go
Two Utah teams have a 28 and 3 record. Only one will win their conference
tournament. The losing team will receive all of the coverage.Go Big
Go Aggies! This is the year you will win a game or two in the big one. Very
mature and talented "TEAM".
Win the WAC tourney at make it a given. Get the better seeding too.
Nice season from USU! Hopefully the double-bye doesn't end up coming back to
bite us. I'd almost rather have the Aggies play through a normal schedule like
most other conferences so that they're firing on all cylinders for the
championship game...Then again, there's not really anyone in the WAC to
I actually wish the MWC set up its tournament like the WAC has theirs. It's
really not fair for teams like USU and BYU to win their conference, then have to
play as many games as an 8 seed to win the tournament. Making the lower seeds
play more games, as the WAC does, is a much better set up, IMO.Yes,
there is the chance that the lay off might lead to cold shooting, or coming out
flat; but the other team also is coming of a game the day before, or even two
games in the last two days. Makes the chances they'll be worn out that much
better.Good luck Aggies.
We are totally a lock. With San Joset playing us and Idaho out of the picture,
we're are now for more likely to avoid an upset. Go Aggies!
