How come no one else seems to be upset about the fact that Landry Fields is out
performing our #9 pick?
Because landry Fields is also outperforming picks 2-8.
I think Hayward was drafted with the thought of being Kirilenko's replacement.
He is very talented, and has a high basketball IQ. I think with more playing
time, he could develop into a very solid player. I wouldn't be surprised to see
AK gone by the trade deadline. @JFFR: There are players who are better than
expected that come from every draft. The Jazz were on the receiving end of that
with Millsap and Matthews.
Landry Fields was projected as a bust. He's one of the biggest surprises in
draft history. NOBODY saw this coming, even in retrospect. Hard to compare him
to Wall or Griffen, completely diff players, but those three are far far ahead
of the rest of their class. The groupies in NYC would've lost their
minds had innocent looking Gordon gone to the Knicks. Kid wouldn't get a wink
Is he for real? In all honesty I think that in 5 years Hayward will be better
than him. But I haven't followed too much...
Hayward have good set of skills for his height...with minutes and
experience...he will definitely be a good player in the league...an All-Star? im
not quite sure...but what i know...is he will be a very good contributor...to
Kakashi are you serious? Hayward might be an All-Star and a definitely a good
player in the league? When his contract runs out, he will be in
Hayward may turn out to be an Adam Keefe type, which isn`t a bad thing, hard
worker, who will learn to be in the right place at the right time...Go Jazz
To Springman72: Sorry, but the Jazz did not draft Matthews. That is why we
lost him - he was on a one year contract. Had he been drafted, he would have
had a 3 year contract and would still be with the Jazz.
