I don't get it. Why did Elson need to do what illegal aliens don't need to do?
Few elected officials in Utah even think it's a priority to be legally permitted
in order to work in the U.S. Certainly Obama and the feds don't think it's an
issue. Is it just because this guy is taking the roster spot of what could have
been a U.S. born center/forward? If Elson can get his jump shot down I'm all for
granting him amnesty and a fast track to citizenship if he wants. Hey, why
shouldn't a multi-millionaire from Europe have the same rights as an
impoverished peasant from South America?
maby they get alot of tax dollars from him. or maby he pays no taxes. either way
at least he has a work permit wich is what about 15 million others should be
getting to work here
re: desertsage"why shouldn't a multi-millionaire from Europe have the
same rights as an impoverished peasant from South America?"why
should money have anything to do with it? of course, that may be your original
point, but it gets lost with what seems to be a little bias. Manu Ginobili, (a
south american) who plays for the Spurs, has to follow the same laws as
Francisco Elson, so maybe your question should be why shouldn't
multi-millionaires from any place have the same rights as impoverished people?
Moving right along, good news to hear we are getting closer to have our complete
12 player squad healthy. Okur appears to be back sooner than originally
expected, so good job on his rehab
Can't wait for that first money shot from Mehmet oh boy oh boy
Memo is not going to be a factor for another month. Even if he does play, he
will be rusty and off. He practiced a whole 10 minutes. That doesn't say much
to me as he is ready to play in a game. I could practice 10 minutes.Oh and keep the policital stuff on the political page. This is sports baby!
