Good luck, kid. Run the picket fence at 'em!
I would love to see the kid explode offensively and be OK defensively, but I
don't think he has the body or the talent to do so.. Since the Jazz gave up
three first round choices for Jefferson, overcompensating the T' Wolves who had
no choice but to trade him since they had already offered MIchael Beasley to
take Al's place. Beasley is averaging 22 pts, 7 rebounds, and shots 41% from 3
point range. It just doesn't seem like the Jazz had to send anymore than Koufos
and the #1 in 2011 to Minn. for Al, a guy KOC drafted around in picking up
Humphrey and "Mr. Forgettable" Kirk Snyder. It's going to be 2013
before the Jazz can draft to their needs, a shooting guard and a power forward.
With a draft record of Almond, Koufos (to Minn.) Maynor, ALL BUSTS, how does KOC
keep his job? I like Jefferson, but Kevin must take a ribbing for overlooking
him, drafting a bad shooter and a man with severe mental problems and now coming
back and wasting three-first round choices to "FIX" HIS BLUNDER. Love
Jerry, O' Conner is deplorable.
Hayward will never make it in the NBA with that body. Find the weight room.CJ is going to go off tonight for 25 points.
I hope Sloan is true to his word and tries to get more playing time to these
younger guys. The Jazz have a really good athletic group that give them some
much needed depth and versatility. Develop them now and it will help in the
Why play Hayward in front of Price?
When Sloan says about a player that "you couldn't ask him to work
harder," that is high praise indeed.
@SJ- most teams don't do that great in the draft. Plus the Jazz decide by
committee, there is blame to share, its not just O'Connor.@CJ-
Hayward is only 20 years old, his body is still developing. Do you remember
what CJ looked like when he was a rookie? According to David Locke, Hayward has
the 2nd highest standing vertical leap of all the 2's and 3's in the draft this
year. Despite being white, he is very athletic.Vince Carter is
licking his chops just thinking about Hayward. I predict he'll last 5 minutes.
The Flash are just licking their chops thinking about the return of
Okur and Sloan's desire to get Hayward minutes.
Hayward blew his first shot at playing, lets hope he does better with his 2nd
chance. We could really use his ability to rebound.
The only negative about tonight is Gordon, Sloan pulled him when he went out of
Jerry's system. Gordon in fairness to Sloan thinks he is still at BUtler and
trying to beat guys at times when it is not there. Gordon seems smart and
willing to learn with a good attitude. He was not fed the ball much. It was
like 4 on 5 in the first quarter. He has to improve because I do not feel he
has yet totally earn DWIL trust. It just suprises me, Gordon has not
picked up more yet but I will be patient he is a Rookie and I hope Jerry and the
squad remain patient with Gordon equally.
Nice move Sloan. Start the second half just like you did the game when Dallas
blew your team out of the water. Hayward and A.K. playing at the same time is
stupid, both are weak sisters, then throw in C.J. and he stinks up the joint,
what chance do we have? None I would bench Jefferson also he's not doing
anything. Lets see Elson, Mathews and Evans coach. When these softies don't play
with desire and heart- bench them!
