CJ is one of the Jazz smarter players, and he outstanding as far as an athlete.
He can stand and hit the open three or unlike Korver, CJ can put it on the floor
and drive and dunk or pull up and hit the 2. He also understands the flow of
the game and seldom messes up but plays within the parameters set by the coach
and teamates.CJ also brings to the game a defense that is really
good. Most offensive weapons bring little defense but CJ brings a ton. The
Jazz were wise when they kept him.
I would like to see CJ start over Bell. He has much more energy and atacks
rebounds and blocks shots much better than Bell. Oh, and he shoots much better
to, and can help D-Will create.KEEP IT UP CJ!!!GO JAZZ!!!
CJ does it all this year. Rebounds, blocks shoots, steals, assists. He is like
a mini AK but actually has a great offensive game.He plays better
off the bench because as a shooter he needs touches and the 2nd team needs him.
Keep starting Bell.CJ has carried this team the last two games.
Dwill is in a huge shooting slump. Millsap needs to make some noise this
week.Never been a Fes fan but I am becoming one. The Jazz seem to
be better with him in game for 15 minutes.
I have been a big CJ fan/supporter but have often complained about his
inconsistent play.I feel CJ has the potential to be even better than he is
playing and I hope he keeps getting better and more confident. Consistency is
still something he has to show he can bring and if he does it will make a big
difference to the Jazz success.Fes makes the Jazz better and it is
frustrating that so many can't see the difference he makes. He doesn't have to
score to impact the game in a positive way, his presence in the paint usually
allows the Jazz to outscore their opponent and that is why he usually has one of
the highest plus/minus scores of anyone on the team. Sloan wants his offense to
run thru his bigs and Fes doesn't give him that yet but winning is the name of
the game and Fes's positive plus/minus shows he helps the team outplay the
opponent while he is on the floor.I like Elson and he has played well but
he doesn't change the game like Fes does.
CaptainL: I agree, Fes changes the defense. Nobody really cared much for
Ostertag, but the fact is, he made guys alter their shots. I think Fes should be
starting ball games, and Milsap and Jefferson can scrum over who gets the start
at power forward and who comes off the bench.GO JAZZ!
Fes isn't capable of being a starter. First let's see if he can play 20 minutes
without passing out.CJ is not playing enough minutes because Jerry
determined his minutes for the next 10 games, 10 games ago.I still
would like to see Jeremy Evans for 10 minutes a game. Hayward is not impressing
me at all.
I said at the beginning of the season that the key to the Jazz's success would
be the progression of CJ. I'm going to make another prediction: The Jazz will
win 90% of the games in which CJ scores 16 or more points
I hope CJ can keep playing well, I know he has the talent to play even better
than he is but the question is his confidence and consistency. CJ's game is
exactly what the Jazz need, when he is playing well, when he is hitting his
outside shot and driving he creates major problems for the other team. He passes
well and he runs the offense well and he is starting to hit the boards better.
CJ is still young and still has room for improving, I'm hoping he will just keep
getting better and better.Fes is the next player I hope gets enough
playing time so he can improve. He brings what the Jazz need, a defensive
presence in the middle. His problem right now is his confidence on the offensive
end.I think Evan and Hayward can be good players but they need playing
time and confidence. Hopefully the team can start rebounding the ball
better and that may result in some lopsided games that will allow Evans and
Hayward to get more playing time.
