Utah is right where SDSU and BYU will both like receiving them! On the heals of 2 and then 3 straight losses I foresee the Utes playing desperate and in that desperation making some Max Hall type errors and will in the end end the season with four beautiful losses to TCU ND SDSU and BYU. I don't need to provide any evidence as to why this will happen. Come November 27th it will all have been proven on the fields. Twice at RES and twice on the road! Beautiful GO UTES! Lose for us proud!

San Diego is no the way up. They have very good coaching and players that are now understanding how to win. That does not bode well for Utah. Realistically, I expect SDSU to win easily.

    Re: Ute Fan In Utah

Somebody has to be excited about Utah football if your own Ute fans aren't showing up.

SportsCenter is predicting another win for a much improved SDSU team. The Aztecs have two NFL calibre receivers that will burn the weak Ute secondary.

If the Aztecs are able to put any pressure on Jordan, a third straight meltdown could see the end of the Jordan Wynn era at Utah.

No kidding, Facer? Do you really think it's true that Utah Utes football team is looking to avoid 3rd straight loss?

I thought by now it was more likely that the Utes would just accept the fact that they are no more than an "also-ran" in their last year of MWC membership.

Does anyone know when the Utes are going to auction off, for charity, their black uniforms they wore against TCU? I want to bid on the one that said "over-rated".

Head coach Kyle Whittingham of Utah walks during a timeout in the loss to Notre Dame. Notre Dame whipped the Utes 28-3.

"We need to get back on track after poor showings the past two weeks,"

We still believe that we have a very good football team, but we need to regain the confidence and energy that allowed us to win our first

"Bottom line, it all comes back to execution,"

"It's always frustrating to lose. Nobody loves to lose. Everybody loves to win, I think the mind-frame now is just to get better."

I would like to point out that these are almost the exact same words I read earlier in the season and many called the speakers a lousy coach, a rotten QB, or some other derogatory term. Perhaps we should all go back to watching sports to observe the growth and development of young men and women and not so we can finger point and belittle one another.

Think about this Ute nation. Do u think Air force would go recruit a drop back QB, that can't run the option? No so why did the Utes go get a QB that can't run the spread offense. Don't change your offense for a player, go recruit a player who can run your offense.

Sportsbooks have Utah by 3 points. W/ SDSU at home, I think Utah will probably win my about that (maybe by a touchdown). Having said that, they have been on a downward trend and with the shakeup SDSU gave TCU at home last week, they look to be going out on a high note. I wouldn't be surprised to see an upset, but regardless who wins it won't be by more than 1 TD.

Now that the Cougars are up 20-0 at the half the utes are looking past SDSU to 27 Nov.

13 - 3 SDSU so far - that drive from their own 3 yard line was very impressive. Good QB. If Utah loses this game, I'd have to give BYU a big psychological edge for teh 27th, even though they "should" win.

Up until the Air Force game the Utes hadnt played anybody tough. Beating a 4 loss Pitt team doesnt count in my book either! I couldnt care less about the Utes or the Cougars but I sure knew once the Utes hit the latter end of their schedule they would struggle. A few weeks ago all I heard from many Ute fans was BCS talk and how they were gonna fit in nicely with the new Pac 12. Wake up Ute fans you will be 6-6 at best in a conference that you have to show up with your A game week in and week out or you will lose more times then not! The Cougars have no doubt struggled this year and their record shows it but at least with them you can see improvement. Can Utah say the same?

34 to 24, Utah is losing. I have never seen a team fall so flat on their face. How in the world did this team win 8 straight games?

It's amazing what fans say when their team is winning or losing.

BYU looked pitiful early this season, leading many fans to admit their team was no good. Conversely, Utah fans had all the confidence in the world.

Weeks later, BYU started beat the same teams Utah did... and now Y fans act like they can beat anybody. Utah started losing, and we assumed the position.

Fans need to learn how to keep it in perspective. Yes, many of us Utes fans went too far in our confidence... but now, I'm seeing a lot of BYU fans make that mistake.

One poster here wrote "Utah should accept that they are 'also rans' in their last MWC season." Really? And BYU isn't an 'also-ran'? A 6-5 record in THIS conference qualifies as a top-tier program? And a 9-2 program is an also-ran?

In the end, I think that BYU and Utah are pretty even regarding their talent this year. I do think Utah is the better team, but not by much.

Utah won't be a Pac-12 doormat. And neither would BYU if they went to a BCS conference.
