Hope CJ is Ok. Jazz played good defense, except the problem seems to be boards.
Joisey, Brook Lopez and friends killed the Jazz with offensive boards, luckily
the Nets could not shoot.Raja good to see shooting pick up, DWIL was
great offensively but the Net Guards hurt the Jazz equally. Jefferson seems to
have problems with taller opponents and with his weight AJ should be more
effective pushing his opponents out of the comfort zone. Another concern is the
bench tonight only scoring 10 points. I see Fes maybe had a bad practice and
back hopefully not in the doghouse.Bottom line was good enough to
beat the NEts, but we will need better to beat the Hot Spurs.
The Jazz are hard to watch sometimes. They give up way to many offensive
rebounds. They have to get a 2 guard that can shoot. I still can not understand
why we can't get someone that can shoot.
A ho-hum game but still a win. Very poor bench production. C.J. not an NBA
player. D league at best. Trade him and try to get some value.
The Jazz giving up offensive rebounds because the guards and wings are not
taking the open shots from outside, instead they pump fake and dribble drive and
that makes the defense close the lane and you dont give yourselves a chance when
that is all you do and teams dont respect your perimeter shooting, and why
should they? Raja and Miles are both shooting below 30% from the 3. We need a 3
point threat, or guys should shoot the ball, even if you miss it gives our big
guys a chance because someone has to come out and guard you. TAKE THE OPEN JUMP
SHOT!! When all you do is pump fake, dribble drive and dont finish, we dont have
@nothegame. No joke! I have been steamed for all these years Kevin O Conner has
been here for that very reason. He treats the shooting guard position like it is
just an experiment position to the game of basketball. He tries to fill it up
with projects and whatever does not make sense to anyone else but himself.
John Wicks you are back in rare form. Who on the bench is better than CJ?
