This is a nice column, but I miss Ann Cannon.

    Wonderful column.
Given the Deseret News (and LDS) emphasis on family life, a column of perspectives and practical suggestions for parents is a welcome addition.

Keep the parenting articles coming. I have an enjoyable time validating your claims about various cultural practices on raising children around the world.

Our children are worth the best practices, our time, and resources we can invest in their futures.

As a critic of the last column, I'd say a much better article focusing on the strengths of many cultural family practices - while still acknowledging a common thread of family values throughout the world.

I'm really looking forward to hearing the words of wisdom from parenting experts Richard and Linda Eyre. What a great addition to the Deseret News!
