I wouldn't call anything they have done "progress".I would call it
In Soviet America...Progress Reverses YOU!
As a Republican I agree with Obama. Obama said it's time to put aside
partisanship this is not the time for compromise. I'm going to "defy the
conventional wisdom" that foresees huge GOP wins. We The People are tired of
RINO GOP's that are interested in money, greed, corruption, above the law,
(ignore us common people unless they need your votes while re-campaigning
again), career politician's who will take money from any special interest and
say or do anything to keep his hold on power. It's secret government by the
insiders, for the insiders only today. That's for BIG BUSINESS "ONLY" and their
deep pocket's. Newly elected representatives may come to Washington with high
ideals and lofty principles. Then they're confronted with a big pool of money
that's there for the taking. If they don't claim it, someone else will. In this
world, thrift isn't a virtue. The meek don't inherit anything. After elected,
they put blinder's on us, to cover up their corruption, while we rot and suffer.
That's not real politics folks. And I for one am sik of it. Are you?.
The president meant to say "progressive." And, yes, we do want it all rolled
back and then paid for! Get us out of debt once and for all!
Sorry Barack, but your agenda will never succeed in America. If you want to be
successful, you'll need to move overseas. Fortunately, a majority of Americans
still believe in constitutional law and principles, and not in people who are
trying to move us away from such sound principles.
The GOP lobbyist's connection was to stop sid Obama also.A ride on
the revolving door gets a lot less lucrative as soon as your old boss is out of
power. Researchers at the London School of Economics published a
first-of-its-kind study using LegiStorm's congressional salary data which finds
lobbyists' earning power is linked to their connections on Capitol Hill. The researchers analyzed the employment histories and salaries of 1,100
ex-congressional staffers turned federal lobbyists and found a significant drop
in earnings once the member they worked for left Congress. For
former Senate staffers or senior House staff, lobbying earnings dropped 24
percent once their boss left office, according to LSE's study. The findings are
explained by co-author Mirko Draca in a YouTube video. When a
politician leaves, a lobbyist's connection to that politician becomes obsolete,
Draca said. The politician is no longer a potential target for lobbying. Although firms may argue that the large six or seven figure salaries
paid to top lobbyists are based on policy expertise and lobbying skill, the
findings seem to show who a lobbyist knows is key to driving business their way.
The Democrats have pinned their hopes on Obama and he has led them into
quicksand and it does not appear as if anyone wants to throw them a rope.
I hope desperately that Obama's "progress" can be reversed. I am worried that
for some things it is too late.
Reversal of the ballooning national debt, reversal of Mr. Obama's czars,
reversal of the wasteful government spending and the Afghanistan war, reversal
of his imperial presidency? Now wouldn't reversal of those be a tragedy?
