The game was a bummer for an opening home game, but it was a back-to-back game,
and I think Fesenko should have played more for one thing.Bell had
problems, probably thinking too much at times, and passed up shots he should
have taken, and passed late into the paint at times too. Jefferson hardly passed
from the low post during the parts of the game I saw. That new part of his game
will hopefully come as the season progresses. Williams will definitely shoot
better real soon. Milsap played hard and well. Hayward looked smooth a lot of
the time. Guys just weren't making enough shots.
This looks like a very bad team. No rhythm. No go to guy. Shooting is
abysmal. I would be surprised if Utah finished in the top 3 in their division.
I'm not jumping to conclusions, Utah just isn't very good. Denver
and Phoenix are average west teams- Utah will finish in the bottom 5 in the west
this year. CJ Miles is not the player he should have become, we
have no center. Fez is a 2-4 minute stint guy. We need Okur. Jefferson will
be good when he figures out where to take his shot and when to pass. No one can find their shot right now. AK looks like he's already packed for
Europe and not fighting for another contract.3rd Quarter Miles had
foul after turnover after missed shot and over again. What does this guy have
to do to sit the bench?
Believe! What is this Amway? This is the same old Jazz....no athletes...can't
guard my Mother. Will you cockeyed optimists wake up and admit the Jazz is a
"NICE" team...the only major professional team in Utah and just enjoy the
entertainment? I get really uncomfortable with all these articles by local
smooze newspaper writers as well as other media commentators with their off the
wall gobbleday goop and not being realistic. It's not worth worrying about.
The Jazz just don't have the horses to contend. Get used to it, and stay off
the Jazz management and coaches. Nothing can be done to change anything. This
is not a game of what if.Love the Jazz!
I`ve said it before will say it again,we miss Matthews,Korver,Boozer and Brewer
to some degree,I`m not sold on our outside shooting, especially with Memo out.It
really showed in first 2 games, they packed it inside and dared us to
[The Jazz are] "starting off like a 25-year-old lawn mower."That's
good stuff Brad.
These first two games looked so ragged I could not beleive I was watching an
NBA team playing against super stars. Have we hit bottom????
Hesitation, lack of transition and perimeter defense. Refusing to move with out
the ball. Inability to find rhythm. Swatting at defenders as they fly past you.
Refusing to take a charge in the lane. No toughness and lack of chemistry.
Houdini.......We have no outside shooting. Matter of fact, so far we have no
shooting period. This team better find the basket soon or it will be a long
long season. Dwill is completely lost right now as to how to run this team.
Until he finds his groove, this team has no identity.
DW's right about one thing--they will lose by 50 in OKC if they don't play MUCH
The bandwagon has plenty of room on it tonight..
