Looking forward to this group coming together quickly. I've heard a lot about
their talent, I just hope they can gel quickly. As always, a Boylen
believer an proud of it.Go Utes
Do something this year. A spoiled crowd won't simply show up. Win and they will
Go Boylen! Go Utes!
A couple of those guys look really athletic and all but can they
come together as a team? Big ? I for one will be watching closely
and of course cheering until I can't talk.Let me just say this
though...No more 3 balls heaved because the shot clock is expiring and I want to
see an inbounds play work as it is planned and coached (hopefully)! Is that too
much to ask? Let's Go Utes!
I was able to attend last night and I can say with full confidence that Clyburn
and Jay Watkins will be a handfull in the open court. They are both active on
the defensive side and love to run. We have a true point gaurd and that should
help this year. JJ Obrian has great size for a Freshman and will likely play
some big minutes at the 3 and 4 position. Glover seems to have
made the biggest improvement as far as returning players and we will be glad
Boylen was able to get Hines to stay.Tavita did not show me much
other than he has increased his size and seems to be improving on his shooting.
It remains to be seen if this will be the case in games, but a few more makes
would be a huge improvement. I am not sure he will play much this year which
could be a good thing. Overall I agree with Boylen's statement
that they will have more depth if Foster and Watkins get back on the court. They
also seem to communicate well on the floor which makes sense since the virus
Brown is now at CU.
keep up the good work
How many fans showed up, 12? Boylen has destroyed Utah basketball, he is the
worst hire in the history of University of Utah athletics. The only good thing
about the season about to start is we are getting close to only 4 more months
until Boylen is fired and we can hire a REAL coach. FIRE BOYLEN!!!!
The worst hire I believe was Ray Giac. Despite his passion, I believe Boylen to
be mis-guided as to the brand of basketball Utah is capable of and/or Utah Fans
wish to see. Contrary to the nickname, it has little to do with "Runnin". As
for a new hire, my vote (not that anyone is asking) is for Tommy Conner.
However, I do not believe Dr. Hill is in a position to do much of anything
factoring in for the loss of revenue the University must endure as it
transitions into the PAC 12. In the meantime, let us all relish in our new
found identity - FOOTBALL and member of the new PAC!!
