"Was the tea party only interested in dumping Sen. Bob Bennett and not helping
elect qualified conservative candidates?"Paul, I think you answered
your own question.
Or, is Philpot too extreme even for the tea party?
So you admit that the tea party is about being negative. No ideas on their part
to solve America's issues. Sounds like the Republican Party, one and the same.
Wise up there is no "tea party" in Utah, and never really has been. The
grassroots conservatives in Utah are groups such as: Utah Rising, Eagle Forum,
Citizens for Tax Fairness, Campaign for Liberty, and several others, including
the illegal immigration groups. They don't have anything near the
funding that the democrats and republicans have. They were able to affect the
conventions, because they cared enough to get involved. They have much less
affect on the general election voters, who get most of their information from 30
sec TV adds, or simply vote the party they have always voted for.
That is because There is not Tea Party!Ever candidate associated
with the Tea Party movement has a big red letter "R" next to them.More of the same.FYI - you've been duped and are being used.
