    Long tradition of honoring dissidents? Didn't they give it to President Obama?

    Let's hope that Xiobao is more effective in fostering change than last year's recipient.
    He is at least far more deserving and has maintained the same agenda for more than 20 years.

    Another report states that winning the Nobel Prize may mean that Xiobao's jail time is extended.

    I guess if the Nobel committee's goal is to turn decent people into martyrs for a cause, then mission accomplished.

    And as for Mr. Xiobao, all I can say is does anyone know how to say "thanks, but no thanks" in Chinese?
