Ty,"Now that I've been removed from it quite a bit, I'm able to kind
of sit back and feel like a part of that group that's gone on there before me,"
he said. "It's like the dream came true."As a Heisman winner, you
aren't part of the group... you lead the group. Lol.
Sad that U fans needed to pull down a Heisman winner to lift there spirits.Rather build then destroy. Yes this road of life takes all kinds of
people to make the journey exciting and in this case less exciting.I
am always amazed at how many Ute fans read about and keep up with the BYU
Cougars."POLY" Cougar Nation
I was wondering how long it would be before an SLC sportswriter finally let the
cat out of the bag and mentioned that the Utes tried to do this same thing last
year. BYU is again copy-catting the Utah program, but stealing an idea, then a
year later acting as if it's their own.Unfortunately the Ute QB weekend,
(including all day Sunday), didn't come off as well as they hoped. They just
couldn't find a suitable meeting place. It seems as if phone booths are getting
harder and harder to find these days.
I hope that Sarkisian isn't serious about his threat to stay in the locker room
unless the Huskies are ahead by 21 points. I anticipate a close game and it
would be disappointing if he doesn't participate. I suspect he's more afraid of
this game that what he lets on; otherwise, Washington wouldn't have acted,
shortly after Sarkisian became the head coach, to cancel the additional two game
home-and-home series they had scheduled with BYU.
You've got to be realistic. Coaching UW is his day job right now. You can't
blame the guy for having to put his team and fans first right now. As great as
it would be to us fans--don't be disappointed if it doesn't happen. I hope BYU
fans cut him some slack. He did great things for BYU while here so we need to
respect that and be understanding of his situation if he can't make it happen.
