In other words, whosever supporters vote next Tuesday, wins. I got that before
Dan Jones talked to 400 Utahns. Tuesday is the real poll.
"Not being responsive to voters"? That is the perfect description of Matheson,
which doesn't bode well for him on Tuesday. These polls using
landline numbers can only measure the conventional wisdom, which has been wrong
about Claudia Wright from the start. I'm still not sure who will win, but I'm
pretty sure this poll grossly underestimates how disgusted voters are with
Matheson and his spineless political maneuvering. Tuesday should be
Where is the Lee/Bridgewater poll? It's ridiculous there hasn't been any
polling done on this. I predict Bridgewater by 10% or more.
I have already voted for Wright. I hope other Republicans will cross ticket and
vote for Wright. Taking that seat away from Pelosi is the best thing we can do
to fight for our country.Whichever Republican gets the Senate
nomination will be an excellent representative for Utah. The most important
thing is to get that House seat back.If Wright wins the primary,
she'll be easier to take out in the General. If Matheson wins, we'll just have
to fight harder to beat him in November.A vote for Matheson is a
vote for Pelosi. Just keep that in mind.
Jim Matheson is really too liberal in this election. I have no idea why Claudia
Wright thought she even had a chance against the Congressman. As to
James T.'s question as to where the Lee/Bridgewater Poll is I think it too is in
this section under Lee/Bridgewater Poll. Just take a look there and I think
you will find it.
stay classy Cats.
Cats - standing up for the conservative values of ignoring principles and doing
whatever you can to hurt your opponent.
Once again: the Citizens' Candidate initiative was started long before Matheson
voted on heath care. Claudia had been already been selected in an open runoff
election at the SLC library. Her candidacy is NOT a result of this
one vote. It is the result of many things. the media needs to stop
mis-characterizing her campaign as a one-issue reaction. It is anything but
Re:Pragmatist"Not being responsive to voters"? That is the perfect
description of Matheson, which doesn't bode well for him on Tuesday."Matheson may not be liberal enough for me and I'm sure most people on this
forum can attest to this since I'm a radical liberal and some people would be
quick to label me extremist but I'm pragmatic and know that in Utah we must get
someone that is more close to our values and Matheson will win in the general
election. That is pretty much a given but Wright will lose in the general
election and I don't care for message campaigns."but I'm pretty sure
this poll grossly underestimates how disgusted voters are with Matheson and his
spineless political maneuvering. Tuesday should be interesting."I'm
disgusted but I will still vote for him and that is what this poll seems to
indicate that a majority don't think that Matheson is liberal enough but that
the same majority supports him. I'm not able to speak for others but I know why
I do. He will win and she won't. It's that simple.
