"One World Everybody Eats was founded in Salt Lake City in 2003 and has helped
establish MORE THAN SIX similar community kitchens throughout the country.""More than six"??Are they not sure how many they have
"helped establish"? Is there a problem counting higher than six? Is a problem
of counting part of the reason for not bothering with a normal exchange?Hmmm. I think the idea is fine. But, I must admit I suspect that if
the people aren't able to determine something as fundamental and simple as how
many other similar restaurants they've helped establish, particularly when the
threshold is a number as lofty as SIX, I question their ability to maintain a
business. I presume Panera is better managed.
Oh, man. Thanks for reminding me that there is no Panera Bread Company in Utah.
I really miss that place. There really isn't anything quite like it. They
really nailed the rebound of carbs in the American diet after the latest Atkins
craze. Paradise Bakery just isn't as good in my opinion.I imagine
"more than six" may mean something along the lines of they started more than six
and six remain operational. I'll grant it's an odd phrase.
I agree, we need a Panera in Utah. Paradise is good but it's no Panera Bread.
