Does the term "five-year plan" make anyone else nervous?

The primary US export is jobs. As more and more jobs go over seas our imports increase. Is Sanchez planning to subsidize exports? That isn't going to work due to trade agreements. Perhaps the administration will simply order U.S. Companies to export more.

If this administration intends on increasing exports, trade treaties that favor foreign imports and against American exporters will need to be changed. NAFTA is an example of this.

This was a great event, with fantastic speakers. Global oriented business is the future, and our great state is performing extremely well. Utah exports have doubled over the last five years. Helping Utah companies successfully enter global markets will bring great benefits to our citizens. Utah has the resources and knowledge-base to prepare companies for exports. It can be done, and many companies that have taken the steps say that it was smartest choice they've made and that the decision has transformed their business.
