16 million, hey.. if Andrei can be ready to go in the playoffs then I think
that's all that Jazz fan wants. This is the only window the Jazz have and it's
not a very large window at all. I don't expect Andrei or Boozer next season
suiting up for the Jazz. So either it all comes together now, or Jazz fan waits
for another 5-10 years. The time is now, if not, then.....
Win tonight, hope the Spurs win, and the Jazz may not need AK until next
week.Get well, AK. Stuff happens.Larry Bird, we might
do well to remember, sat many, many games with a bad back -- and won three
titles and several MVP's.
If the Spurs and Jazz win they will match up in the playoffs. Let Dallas get #2
then they will face Spurs. Portland would have to win also. If AK can get back
for a possible second round that would be great..
The Jazz looked good just as they were last night. Forget Boozer and AK with
their weaknesses and Boozers gaping mouth and lack of D. The game
with golden state was won with the heart of the Jazz team. It was also a very
interesting game to watch. What we saw last night was a balanced team who picked
up the slack and won. Keep it just the way it is. Boozer is just a big
W/o Booz and AK, Deron is going to have to play unconscious tonight. No slow
start, or we are doomed. It's going to be fun to watch!Good luck
Be a man Korver! We want you to get that record but make it legit buddy. You hid
from the 3 point line all night last night. Our team jacked up 18 three pointers
last night and you did not shoot one of them???? We have to win tonight. We need
good spacing in our offense. Spot up where you normally do. We need you to be a
threat from beyond the arc. Don't be the baseball player who sits out the last
day to win the batting title or Ricky Davis shooting at the opponent's basket to
get a rebound and a triple double. We want you to get the record because you are
the most accurate 3 point shooter in NBA history, legitimately. THIS GAME IS TOO
IMPORTANT. Personal records do not matter at this point. We can't be dropped to
the 5 seed because you are defering the 3's to lesser shooters.
whoa, rrw! Wheer did that rant come from?! I didn't see Korver even mentioned in
this article...and which record are you talking about him getting?
rrw was talking about the all time record for 3 pt shooting %. Kyle Korver is
currently at 54.1% from beyond the line. Finishing the season that high would
give him the all time record for 3ptfg% through the regular season. The current record is held by Steve Kerr, at something like 52.4%rrw is claiming that Korver doesn't want to shoot 3's because if he misses a
bunch it would ruin his record.Thing is, if Korver is afraid to ruin
his record, he probably shouldn't be shooting 3's right now. He'll be
distracted and less likely to make them, which would only hurt the team. If the
record is important to him, I say let him get it. Then it'll never be a
distraction in the playoffs or later seasons because he'll only be competing
with his own record. If the record isn't important to him, it doesn't matter
because he'll just shoot if he has the shot. Also, Korver could go 0
for 3 w/o losing the record at this point, so I don't think it matters.
Please if anyone needs to go away it is Kirilenko...this guy makes Greg Oden,
Ralph Sampson,Marcus Camby and Chris Paul look like Ironmen...
AK has played an average of 69 games per year for 9 years. 84% of his games.Greg Oden has played an average of 41 games per year for 2 years. 50% of
his games.AK averaged 81 games over his first 2 years (when he was
younger, like Oden is now) 99% of his games. If you're going to spit
venom at Jazz players at least make sure your arguments aren't just nonsensical
