Eye finger coordination has little value in the real world and very few jobs
incorporate this remarkable feat as gamers consider it.I wonder if
this study included mental stress and eye strain on the participants? Most
gamers tend to play for many hours a day and can't break away from it long
enough to sustain a healthy life. Gamers are people who imprison themselves in
their caves so they don't have to deal with society and the real world.
RE 4:15am: If overdone, you're right. However, every commercial airline pilot
spends a lot of time "gaming" in a flight simulator, and his job depends on his
performance. Many driver's ed students spend time in classroom simulators. Hopefully, education in the future will use computer programs to teach
even esoteric skills like math and English with "games." Businesses
have been educating their employees in house this way for years. They don't
have to worry about the National Education Association. It works.
