I found it very interesting that Brewer in his first game with Memphis chose to
wear a head band and 2 matching wrist bands. What is it that I don't get with
this change of flair? After 3 years of not be allowed to wear this trivial
garbage why is it that these primma-donnas just want to constantly bring
attention to themselves via dress or apperance? Does it improve performance, or
get you more money for playing garbed up? I just seen it as very interesting to
make a radical dress change in your very first game away from someone that
doesn't allow it!
Its called Agency.............
I'm glad he went back to wearing headbands again. Sloan is astrict coach
who players respect but don't like to play for. Sloan doesn'tallow his
players to express themselves like other teams. Despite recent Jazz success, I
think he needs to retire and someone a chance to coach!
He wore them in college so why not now? They keep sweat out of your face and
eyes and that's an advantage. How many times has Millsap got his forehead cut?
Maybe if he wore a headband the lacerations could be minimized.
It's a sad shame to happen to a good kid trying to get acclimated to a new
situation. Get well soon, Ronnie! And to the guy choosing to
childishly complain about Ronnie's attire in this injury article - Grow up.
I agree, who cares about how he dresses. Ronnie is an excelent player, headband
or not. I hope he recovers soon.
