congrat's to all.The company could have laid out more money, since
they are making a ton of it, but... it is the thought that counts I guess.
It's wonderful to see that not all of the tax payer wind power subsidies are
going in someones' pocket!
Utah exports electricity -- lots of it. Clean electricity from wind
and thermal, less-clean from coal.The net result is we import
pollution. Let's at least tax energy exports so some if it might stay in state
to keep OUR air clean, rather than send clean energy to California.
Wind has come down a lot in the past decade or two, but I don't know if it is
competitive without subsidies. I have no problem with exporting energy for
profit to California. I would love to see many more turbines put in place. I
just returned from a trip to Texas and in the Odessa, Midland, Big Spring are
saw thousands of wind turbines.
