I'd pay about a year's salary to be able to load up those syringes with MY
medication of choice for Ms. Barzee and her queer (meaning strange or abnormal)
boyfriend . . .
she's incompetent, so we have allowed her to be the one to make the decision
about whether or not she will take her medication. What's wrong with this
picture? At least SOME sanity has begun to prevail in this sad case.
I am not a lawyer but if they have to take such measures to get her to a
competent level, isn't it fairly safe to say that while the entire ordeal was
being played out she was NOT competent? Will this really serve justice? What
good is it to artificially stimulate competence - a state that she was not in
(probably) when the crime was committed - to enable her, or him for that matter,
to "face justice"?
Isn't it cheaper to keep her in the State hospital than in prison? Especially
when considering the legal fees she will run up. Just leave her there... she is
not going to get better. Otherwise, she goes to prison, gets parole, gets off
her meds, offends again. What's the point?
Wanda is looking at life in prison for what she helped her husband do to
Elizabeth Smart. If she's convicted at a trial, she won't be getting out anytime
Green light? Like this is some kind of business zoning story, or an airline
merger or a new sitcom project? Use a different phrase other than that. Please.
It's a woman and her mental health. Not the start of a street race.
