Scott Machado, 6-1, Sr. point guard

Machado leads the Gaels from the point — leading the NCAA in assists averaging 9.9 per game. He also averages 13.6 points and was named as one of the 15 finalists for the Wooden Award, which Jimmer Fredette won a year ago. Machado is a sharpshooter from the arc, hitting on 41 percent of his 3-point attempts.

Mike Glover, 6-7, Sr. forward

Glover is Iona's leading scorer, averaging 18.5 points per game. He's a transfer from the College of Eastern Utah and was named to the John Wooden Award watch list during the preseason. Glover also leads the Gaels in rebounds, averaging nine per game. Glover was named as the MAAC player of the week on four occasions this season.

Lamont Jones, 6-0, Jr. guard

This is Jones' first year playing for Iona after spending two seasons at Arizona. He was the Gaels' second-leading scorer during the regular season, averaging 16 points per game.

Sean Armand, 6-3, So. guard

Armand led the Gaels in 3-pointers made this year with 77, shooting at 47 percent clip. He started the year on the bench, but quickly earned starter status — finishing the year averaging 9.5 points per game.

Taaj Ridley, 6-7, Jr. forward

Ridley will be counted on heavily to help defend BYU's Brandon Davies in the low post. He's a junior college transfer playing his first year for the Gaels. He averaged 6.9 points per game this year while shooting 51 percent from the field.
